As I mentioned on the first SE and KE video tutorial I want to take all of you on a step by step journey toward mastering both softwares. In todays SEO Elite video tutorial I explain some basic options that may not seem to be important but they can actually give you a better perspective on your competition for a niche. We must understand the total outlook of our competition to gain that competitive advantage and take over them in the SERPS

It may seem that I am really slow in adding steps and features but I really think this is the best way to explain it to you folks not to confuse you.
Yeah - it’s funny. It all seems clear - until you actually start doing it, then you see the options available to you - and you get confused and stuck.
YOur approach is right on. Get the basics first - like learning to read - you learn to read those 3 letter words first.
ok - i’ve got one BANS site up on my reseeler account and just loaded BANS to skeleton folder. next up is learning the elite suite
I will keep making them short and just build up on each tutorial once you folks see in parts you will see how it is really not a big deal but in the beginning as many things in our lives it is a bit intimidating
Vic, would you normally run Yahoo with Google?
Can you still get the PR by using comments versus having you site mentioned within the posts itself.
Does Google give you more authority for having your site mentioned in the post or does it matter.
Yes I always run Yahoo with Google did not do it in this tutorial to make it faster. Yes the comment passes the juice the same this is why I use and recommend comment finding software to make it faster to find relevant post.
Vic your videos are always great but they are getting better. You are teaching us wonderfully. You know, when I go to other sites and check out their advice on BANS and whatnot it’s total garbage. You’re right. They all repeat the same old stuff. Blind leading the blind. I was at this site the other day, Lynn Terry on Clicknewz…they are talking about mixing adsense and affil links on BANS…”the money is in the list”…everybody is politically correct. Makes me want to puke! I’ve done it that way, the wanna-be a lister way…it doesn’t work!
And there’s this phony ethical bull shit in the air…i friggen hate those blogs man! So many people out there are experts at making themselves look like they know what they are doing, but they don’t.

It is sad that new person to IM has a rude and expensive intro the facts are that most of these sites are rehash of rehash of rehash.
In any industry, there are the “talking heads” that believe they control the “conversation” happening within the industry. And often times they do. Unfortunately, as Vic has colorfully pointed out time and again, they are usually the blind leading the blind to the nearest cliff. Meanwhile, there are those in the know who sit quietly in the back of the room, laughing at the Mainstream Media Whores while they rake in tons of cash. Now ask yourself where you want to sit and who you want to listen to; the ones making their money off the shit you buy from them, or the ones who actually show you how to do what they’re doing?
It’s funny cuz every year you hear of the new infomercial guru who was convicted on fraud yet we still see new infomercials saying the same thing every year. Same thing applies to our virtual world except because of how laws have yet to catch up to the internet in many ways people get away with it.
Vic, I noticed some of my scuttle links are starting to show from my BMD runs. Here is what I noticed: when I went to the site to check it out I saw all my bookmarks and tags. Here’s the thing. The tags do create more pages but the tag text itself is not an anchor. So I bookmark a url right, and I put ten anchors on it using related keywords. I dont get any of of the tag names as anchors but instead I get my title for an anchor.
So say I bookmark blogger unleashed and blogger unleashed is my title. For this url I make ten tags, MMO, how to make money on the internet…on and on. I find if you go to the site and click the tags it brings you to a page with the “blogger unleashed” title (and anchor).
So, I’m going to take advantage of using alternating titles to vary my back links cuz otherwise I’ll end up with 11 anchor text all the same from the same site. Make sense? What do you think?
Chris the tags are not work different keywords it is to make more pages with the same keyword if you want to work different keywords you need to change the url title and make another run.
what are the best options if we dont have the $$ right away for KE and SEO Elite
Well you can do all these things manual like for links just use Google links and Yahoo site Explorer and a note pad and just count links one by one and sort them by PR and authority for keywords you can use the Wordtracker free tool it is better then nothing.
