Now you tell me. I do have some .info domains I bought a while ago. The best one does have Adsense and it does OK now but I had to let it sit around for months unmonetized before ‘G’ would acknowledge it. It does get good trickle traffic now though, mostly off long tail terms.
Frank true believer is it ain’t broke don’t fix it. As you know I let my sites age before placing adsense and I believe it does make a age difference the way G looks at them.
Hi Vic,
Why do you advise against having dashes in the domain name? Is it bad for SEO purposes? Not as brandable? Is it looked down on by google? Thanks.
Most for branding you never know when you might want to sell the domain pl;us G sometimes flags the domain to make sure it is not MFA
I have had a lot of success with Squidoo so far. I have about 30 lenses and I get about a sale every other day or so. This has been the best money maker for me so far, but BANS is quickly catching up.
Fred you should make a few videos on Squidoo to try to help the total noob

Hi Vic,
I am new to all this blogging, make money online thing. I started a few blogs on different topics and experimenting with a few different things. I haven’t used squidoo but I will give it a try. How about hubpages? Do they work in a similar way?
CHeck my new comment video
Vic,
How do you set up multiple Squidoo pages and not get banned or caught? Since they need a paypal or other way to pay you, wouldn’t they catch on that numerous accounts are using the same payout address?

FYI GoDaddy has .info domains on sale right now for 99 cents when you buy in bulk. 5 or more…
I found a link that you do not have to buy bulk
Hi Vic,

Hi Vic
its reallykool from justin’s live chat last night.
I not only managed to set up BANS on Squidoo, I created a lens detailing it and also put in links to the stores. anything wrong with linking to the BANS stores?
Squidoo Lens: Installing BANS on Dreamhost
is there a specific post on modifying the BANS stores?
how much modifications do you do to your stores? any favorite/personalized themes you use?
Nice video. And nice presentation. I liked it. And the dashes part is so true … people just don’t listen.
You should consider some Ajax cloaking for loading dynamic ads on affiliate sites. This way you’ll avoid the A links (you can even load dynamic sections with banners), passing juice to those you’re affiliated with (not good to help them rank higher) and keep the outgoing link profile ‘cleaner’ in crawlers’ eyes.
Regards.
