I've been thinking a bit more about this.

I've set up my BANS site (new .info domain) I've run BMD and done social sites and scuttles. I've submitted articles. I've done comments.

I wonder now how google is going to see my site. I have a site suddenly appear with 300 urls, some thousands of backlinks and a heap with the same anchor text in them.

Isn't this going to set off alarms in google and make sure I'm sent right into the sandbox for a long time? Is this the right way to start a BANS site or have I followed all this stuff wrong? Just wondering if I'm putting my head above the parapet so fast that google will bite it off?

I just read this: http://optempo.com/2008/03/09/avoiding-the-google-sandbox/ and though to myself ohoh, I think I've done a lot of that stuff.

If you are doing just scuttles fuck it do all of them but if you are doing legit sites make sure you hide all of the links and it would be way to many not to get banned so only do 5 max.

Hi Vic, just took your advice and bought BMD.

Ran the crawler on my first BANS site of 5 pages and got some 300 urls. When I look it seems that every product in the store has it's own url.

Wondering if I scuttle all 300 urls or is it better just to scuttle the 5?

Got started on my journey, BANS sites going up now, BMD to run soon. Thanks

Vic,

Thank you. Your page has been a great insight for me. I have wasted my time and money on things like niche revolution and PLR Pro, while these have taught me some things, I have never been able to achieve the advertised results.

Bookmarking Demon got my attention a few weeks ago, but I have been hesitant to give it a go because I have been unsure about it's effectiveness, and the effectiveness of social bookmarking.

I will give Bookmarking Demon a shot I think, thanks to your advise.

Thanks.

Vic,

I'm curious too. Is BMD useful for every type of site (such as ecommerce sites or Squidoo lenes) or should it only be used for WP blogs and BANS sites?

Vic,

Is BMD meant for e-commerce sites as well? Can it be used to bookmark specific product listings that have detailed descriptions? Or I guess more specifically, is it worth using the program in this manner?

Vic,

Just wondering, when you set up your accounts how many do you set up 10, 20? And are these all with emails from the same domain (obv, difference addresses) or from emails such as hotmail etc?
