As one of those "Mac guys" you spoke of, I'm almost as stoked as you are. It'll be nice to finally see what the BMD fuss is all about.
… and the really nice part, thanks to a couple of BANS sites that pretty much run themselves, I actually have *extra* money in my paypal account every month to use on investment like this.
I don't see where he mentions it will be web-based, though he does mention it will be portable and not require installation, whatever that means. To me, web-based most often implies installing it on a web server somewhere. Can you clarify that? Since you've talked to him, it may just be a communication issue?

About the web based, I thought they just said no install needed – that doesn't mean web based, just the program is a single executable. But you would have pretty close ties I guess, have they told you Vic that it's wholly web based? I guess it also stops the illegal copies that way.

Is it true that current BMD users will have to buy the new version? I'm a little peeved that the BMD4 software is not being considered an "upgrade" since one of the selling points of BMD3 was that I wouldn't need to pay for future versions.
Thanks for answering, Vic. Have you got details on what settings are good for BMD, such as delay times etc etc. I can see it would be easy to mess your sites up by using BMD wrongly.

If we do it right I think not because Pligg is really a CMS not like BANS which is sales specific and even with BANS only the dot infos where targeted so if we build them on a solid pre-owned we should be like way ok.
And a big feature is the random keywords thing, that will camouflage mass posting really well! I was looking at AutoPligg from syndk8, which costs a lot, and this one will be just as powerful and I will get it for "free" yay!
If you put an article with it, the result would be like posting to article directories but much faster!

Hosted applications normally you have to pay a monthly fee so this is what I used to base the hosted comment.

It's Christmas in September for BMDers! I like the Pligg feature but would Google slap them if it sees 1000s new Pligg sites overnight?
