This post is about a blog contest that was done here at BU. It was intended to show techniques for fast deployment and getting really quick traffic in the thousands. It was way harder then expected to run the contest but it was fun to watch how great some grasped the concepts.

As you folks know the last week has just turned into a nightmare after the server for Blogging Zoom and BU was trashed. We have worked over 20 hours a day trying not only to restore the services but also I have had to restore over 40 personal sites that where on the same server. [...]
