The facts are the money is not in that type of blogging, the money is in niche blogging. Now the funny thing is John Chow makes shit money compared to those that have a small farm of 100 niche blogs each only making 10 to 30 dollars a day but in sheer volume you do the math.
So this is how I decide what niche I will work. The first thing is to find a niche that is not blog heavy and if it is blog heavy it will be easy for me to compete. I do not want to go against 5 PR8 with deep deep keyword linked sites.
So I think about Ants. Now the first thing I do is go to Google and do a search on”Ants” I get Results 1 - 10 of about 1,940,000 for Ants, this is a good number. Now I look at my first page results, I see first place is Wikipedia which is always a powerhouse but it turns out none of the first ten pages have the info that people are looking for when they search for Ants.
Now I know this is a niche I can rank high so my next step is go to Google AdWords: Keyword Tool and do a search for Ants, ohhh my it turns out that it is a high search count and also there is really good competition for adsense so now I have a well searched keyword with a top CPC of $20.00. Now right now most of you are asking why the hell does a stupid keyword like Ants has just sick CPC but yet the keyword blogging has 3 cent clicks. It is actually quite simple remember when I looked at the results for Ants how I said that the first page of the results did not really phase me and how I could compete, simple folks the avg search for Ants has to do with some one who has an Ant problem at his house, so he does not give a fuck really how many times a year Ants mate what he wants to find out is how to kill the fuckers. So guess who is paying those $20.00 clicks? Your local Exterminator.
Now I go buy a pre-owned domain with a minimum PR of 3 with the keyword inside the domain and I do not care really for the extension. In this case I found a really good one which is DOT COM and I could get it for less then $100.00 now for the people who came directly here and did not read my other post yet you can go to Pre-Owned Domains For Survival and learn why I do not buy new domains anymore.
Ok let’s recap where we are at. I have a well searched keyword with really high CPC and I have a domain with the keyword inside the name. It is also a PR3 with some really good solid PR3 keyword anchored text links coming back.
Right now most of you are saying to yourself mmm uhh yeah but I have no ideas on anything related to Ants. Last part of this post lessons. You will find a blog or website or any article and you will reword there information and post it on your Blog. Now before I get the classical ohh my god that is so un-ethical all I have to say is fuck you than starve yourself. Look most of the stuff is already written anyway come on folks let’s be honest for example go get 3 different encyclopedias and look up Ants guess what they all say the same shit with the words in a different order. You will be doing exactly the same thing. Now you make as many post as you can the first day you will post a minimum of 5 post then the rest you will schedule them to post every 3 days. Do as many articles as you can so you can leave the blog and work on another so try to have a 3 month break on that blog.
For how we will promote this blog, that is a whole set of post we will work later.

I hope you have some ideas on managing and maintaining that 100 niche blogs in later posts. That’s one of the daunting things to me. I could see “fire and forget” HTML mini-sites. But, to me, blogs indicate something demands more care and feeding in terms of promotion. It makes me think of the plate spinning guy in a circus act.
But, then again, I’m still puzzled at how my traffic on my VB.NET blog is slowly growing even though I’ve not posted anything new there in over a month. I had expected it to radically drop.
Frank no worries, I will be walking everybody step by step. It is crazy my post list. And with everyhting I have in my plate it is just crazy but bear with me all your questions will be answered.

Costa we all have lot’s to learn. I am still learning about this buying and selling domains. One of the really cool things about life is the ability as human to grow a bit more everyday.

Hey Vic, how really important are outbound links in terms of niche blogging? Are they really necessary or should I have only inbound links?
Everywhere I see diffrent oppinions about outbound links at those self-proclaimed SEO experts, but I don’t believe in them anymore.
