Geez vic though you were going to burst a vein there! LMAO! Think you need to chill a bit.

Really good video and good advice - have started doing the things you have been teaching and already seeing some results.

Also, didn’t see the challenge video until an hour ago, are there still any more places on it?

Oh, and you never included in a vlog whether you use google analytics and webmaster tools for your niche sites.

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 00:37 (Reply)

Yes just follow the steps on the challenge post and I will look forward to your email. I use Analytics but only 4 sites per account I am a paranoid bitch ;) Only use webmaster tools if I need to make a request of inclusion ;)

Went and bought 30 .info domains during watching this… cant wait for my RAM and HD space to come in so I can upgrade my Mac enough to run parallels and all theses tools finally…

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 00:38 (Reply)

Yeah I have wanted to swich to a Mac for years but fucking developers only work for sucky windows us that love linux or apple always get the shaft.

      1. Justin B on 14.04.2008 at 00:43 (Reply)

I use Mac and bootcamp on to windows. Works fine on my base level macbook, not a problem. Don’t have all the tools, but I do use BMD. I just set it up and go to bed.

And if you’re short on cash, you can get boot camp w/o lepoard and XP for free… =P Just check out torrents

      2. Alvin on 14.04.2008 at 01:00 (Reply)

Vic, I use Linux on my desktops .. but for these tools, I run VMware Server… Its free and you can essential duplicate multiple instances of Windows on one machine.

        1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 01:13 (Reply)

How about performance no need to worry? BTW I will check on the soft tonight besides making this vid and link building been busy on Justin Vic secret super duper project ;)

          1. Alvin Loh on 14.04.2008 at 02:49 (Reply) (Comments won't nest below this level)

Its ok Vic, take your time with the testing. I need to do some catching up on Link building and my sites also heh .. been spending quite a lot of man-days on the program but I think its kinda worth it because it might actually save more time in future.

As for VMware server, I think it almost feels like you are on a native windows (it doesn’t lag or anything). Moreover, with the onset of multi-cores CPU, the virtual machine can scale to multiple CPU, distributing your load. One thing I like about VMware server is that you can “Close” the running Windows and set it in the background (which is useful if you are going to do long BMD runs or Article submissions) and it keep churning in the background without taking up your main desktop space.

Second, well, you save money on electricity and you can get to save the earth :) heh heh.

          2. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 03:24 (Reply)

Ohh yeah this is something I will definitely try thank you so much. As for the soft ohh hell yeah it would be a huge time saver so i look forward to beta testing ;)

            Vic,

I have used vmware for years and can’t rave about it enough. I’ve used it for everything from secure virtual workstations for outside contractors to domain controllers. If you plan on using a number of virtual machines at the same time you will have to have a heavy duty workstation class system.

What you can do with vmware is limited only by your imagination.

            Beau

          4. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 13:12 (Reply)

You folks have me pumped up with it and can not wait to learn the ropes ;)

          5. TzuVelli on 14.04.2008 at 13:33 (Reply)

As far as BMD and other licensing is concerned load everything you want on the first virtual machine. make a copy the virtual machine and replicate it as often as you want for as many machines as you want. You have to change some basic things like name and VMID but those are simple. But, no licensing issues. After one system load, you could create an infinite number of machines. Get a string of public IPs and you have a virtual army of systems. I think you see the possibilities with this setup. ;)

          6. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 13:38 (Reply)

OMG!!!! That is huge talk about mass promoting!!! Thank you folks so much I love I am so stoke like you mentioned the possibilities are endless and the coolest thing I can have my linux dose on a bigger scale LMAO ;)

    Breath Vic, breathe…

I have to say this is a great video for an overall vision on what this site is about.

I would be working on going to Vegas, but I don’t have any vacation time left :P I’d rather use the cash to continue to expand my sites.

My goal is to be able to quit my job and do this full time; everyone I talk to about this asks me what I want to spend my money on; I get some pretty strange looks when I say I want to keep buying more domains to make more sites.

I told my wife not to get excited if we get some checks around $300 this month; that money is already spent. She got excited and wanted to know where it was coming from. Duh, what I’m doing everynight staying up till midnight…

And those who say they don’t have money for .info domains, you can’t afford $1.19???? That’s how much it costs for 1 .info domain with the sale going. That’s less than 1 bottle of coke in a machine!

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 00:39 (Reply)

No doubt grow the business go to Vegas business all day long the larger the protfolio and the more diverse let it be MFA BANS FlagShip Local Niche the more you guarantee your online business ;) Still would be cool to meet you in Vegas though ;)

  4. Pierce on 13.04.2008 at 23:47 (Reply)

I have to say man that I am starting to understand why and were you are taking this site. It is a breath of fresh air to see someone tell the truth and want to make a change.

I see what you are doing and it is awesome.

Thank you for putting this stuff out there. Without you and Grizz I would be blindly following Yaro’s dream. THANK YOU for saving me from his false hope.

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 00:40 (Reply)

I just wished I could speed the process up to see all you folks already making a couple hundred a day ;)

  5. Laughing-Gaz on 14.04.2008 at 00:11 (Reply)

I think you kinda got the message across with this one! - The problem is, many of us have been bonbarded with so much shit in the past that we tend to overlook the bleedin obvious.
Yes I am guilty of overthinking things - I don’t mean to, it just happens.
I guess from now on its gonna be a case of “just F***in do it!”.
Keep bashing us Vic - we’ll make you proud one day!

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 00:41 (Reply)

I know trust me I do the reason I know what you folks do is because I was there remember ;) Again I am not a rocket scientist I just have been doing this for ages LMAO!! ;)

  6. lissie on 14.04.2008 at 00:54 (Reply)

The taking action thing isn’t just online business - we did well in real estate in New Zealand - we started in 2003 - were worried that we were too late and the boom was ended - well it did end - this year ROTFL, with out equity 50% up! I have friends who were thinking about investment property in 2003 who are just about to take action on it!

Can I ask a stupid question? On your paintball BANS sites I notice that your “content” is just kw stuffed phrases - why is this better than just a few paragraphs of English with your 3 keywords bolded thruout - does the lack of readability encourage the click out? And yes I have RTFM (read the fucking manual) as they say in user support!

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 01:15 (Reply)

So the real estate debacle is world wide? On the keyword stuffing bad habbits from my BH days I need to upgrade that site and I will redo not only pages to be more legible and put the keyword stuffing more on the bottom but also change some keywords

      1. lissie on 14.04.2008 at 01:33 (Reply)

Not as bad as the US - the whole lending industry is set up very differently here - thank God. Hah I had just figured the compromise - write a couple of paragraphs of English and then add a paragraph of keywords at the end! Then go back to the comment page and there’s you saying the same thing. Just so I have got this - I do the site, add some content, BMD it, couple of articles and then how long before I should see it indexed? A week?

        1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 01:49 (Reply)

With BMD you should be doign 3 premium social site runs those inlinks should get your site indexed in about 72 hours max if it takes longer it would really be tied to what keyword you are using and Googles no need of indexing your site quci also if you have a solid aged blogger blog farm you can usually get indexing in about 12 hours.

        2. YC on 14.04.2008 at 02:56 (Reply)

Hey lissie, don’t worry about when it’ll get indexed. It’ll sooner or later if you get your links etc. Just move on to building your next site. :)

          1. lissie on 14.04.2008 at 03:20 (Reply) (Comments won't nest below this level)

Fuck my head hurts - downloaded BANS Friday - on top of that now BTW it has the best manual I have ever seen with any clickbank product - if you follow the manual you could upload and get it working even if you never used ftp before!

BMD is harder for me to understand - and the documentation is not quite as good (not bad just not so good) - so I am now off to do my first BMD run - wish me luck:-) - a new login a/c for each right ?

          2. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 03:26 (Reply)

Make sure you look at my BMD video and also make sure you join the BANS support forum they are really good. BMD takes a few days to really fully get it but once you do you will do your BMD runs blind folded ;)

Vic, I’ve gotta say thanks man. This vlog really hit the spot for my at just the right time.

I’ve got 2 kids and the wife is heavily pregnant with our third. She’s had it rough the past week with the baby trying to come 10 weeks early. She’s in hospital now and will probably stay their until the baby comes.

That has left me alone with my two kids. A 6yr old and a 3yr old. They go to bed at 7pm, this is the time I put the computer on at the moment. With all the stress going on they need my time more than anything else does right.

Anyway by the time they go to bed and totally stressed out, you know worrying about the wife and the baby.

The truth is, the last two evenings I’ve turned the computer on and just stared at the screen for hours, and got fuck all done.

I don’t know, it’s hard to explain, but you know, you’ve given me a little kick in the ass with this vlog.

I’m back to being a link building ninja again.

Thanks again Vic, I’ll re-watch this whenever I need another little kick in the Ass.

ps, delete the moderated comment, i used the wrong prefix for my email.

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 01:19 (Reply)

All I want is to get you guys fast results I swear I wish I did have a magic bullet and could instantly get you guys paid, but we do have to do all this boring shit to get the results and it is time consuming.

Your family will be in our prayers and remember at the end of the day nothing more important then you wife and kids.

But that extra time also remember that the quicker you get all this shit done the more time you will have to spend with your loving family and all your sites will be making money for you. This is why not only do I believe in my set and forget business model but also teach it.

    2. Ray on 14.04.2008 at 02:01 (Reply)

      Stonkin,

Man, I feel for you. I am on a project away from home, again, and I have begin devoting my evenings to building BANS sites, and getting links. Miss the family a whole fucking lot, but knowing I will soon have a choice keep me motivated.

What Vic say works, hang in there and don’t give up. Remember when you start making money (NOT IF)you have more freedom to do what you want.

If I can offer one piece of advice which helped me is I deleted all but three blogs from my RSS Reader, (Court, Grizz, and Vic) Stay focused, avoid distraction (like useless bloggers), and keep your eye on the trophy.

My best to you and your family.

      1. Stonkin on 14.04.2008 at 02:34 (Reply)

Thanks every so much for your thoughts Vic and Ray. I really appreciate it.

Vic, you’re so right. My wife and kids are the reason I get up in the moring, they are my world.

Hopefully, one day I’ll get to where I need to be, when I do you’ll have a personal thank you email from the Wife. She thinks you’re a tool by the way. LMAO

Ray, I’ve worked away from home a lot in the past as well. It’s so hard to be away from the family. Feeling for you too man.

Don’t worry about me man. I’m doing what I got to do. But, things do get on top of you now and again. Thats why I thanked Vic for this Vlog post. The clown one helped too LMAO.

As for Vic, well how could you not trust what he says. It’s been really cool getting to know the guy through his vlog posts. Some have made me laugh, some have made me cry, his passion and enthusiasm really get you by the balls. Respect to you Vic.

Other blogs LMAO, yes I only read Griz and Vic.

        1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 03:27 (Reply)

LMAO “a tool” I look forward to that email ;)

HA Ha, I goto stop doing that. Slang where I come from is so fucked up. I just look at the other definitions for “tool”. Oh fuck, you can choose…A Wannabe….or a Penis LMAO

Actually means crazy dude from where I come from.

            No offence :D

Not to self….Grow up u Tool LMAO

          2. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 13:39 (Reply)

    Vic,

Whenever I watch an “inpiring” video like this, I feel like I’m failing you and your efforts to help guys like me.

The seven sites that I have built has started making money and if it wasn’t for the present circumstances, I would be like into my 10 or 11 sites by now. DAMN!!

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 01:19 (Reply)

Costa I have not been a good friend I totally forgot that I have a debt with you. I promise I will take care of what we talked about.

      1. costa on 14.04.2008 at 09:34 (Reply)

No. Vic. If there is anyone who is in debt, I am the one who is indebted to you. What I learned elsewhere is noting if compared to what I learned here in a few short months. If ever there comes a day that I am able to pay off my debts and mortgage with what I have learned here, I will fly down to Puerto Rico and thank you in person and that’s a promise.

        1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 13:41 (Reply)

Thank you for such caring words friend and I pray for you and your loved ones to have a break from the problems and gives you an opportunity to get yourself out of your financial hardship.

    Vic,
Remember that we don’t all have the unwavering drive that you do. I am in a hotel in Reading Pensylvania and won’t be able to do anything this week other than work at my real job.

Actually it might be a blessing because I was burning out of the link thing and need a break. Not all of us can go at this thing 12 hours a day like you can.

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 02:07 (Reply)

LMAO I know but man Bruce I think sometimes I wanted more nad for you folks then some folks. I know how it is to get home late eat dinner and pass out on the sofa because of exhaustion folks working from home doign this shit is such a blessing ;) I want everybody here to Nuke Their Fucking Jobs ;)

  11. Manuel on 14.04.2008 at 01:22 (Reply)

Thanks, Vic! I’ll go full blast creating BANS sites as soon as I get accepted into the eBay/CJ affiliate program. So far, I’ve sent them 3 emails (1 week apart), and each email focuses on a different benefit.

Well, at least I hope eBay sees it as a benefit. :-)

Still no response from them, though. Will probably try emailing them every 3 days.

Thanks again for the videos, Vic!

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 01:32 (Reply)

Ok remember that now is EBN not CJ I just want to be sure you are at the right place. I need to figure out to help you folks that do not get approved but for now lets keep our fingers crossed that you do get approved.

      ;)

  12. Shirley on 14.04.2008 at 01:38 (Reply)

Vic, I guess I’m about as clueless as they come, but since I’ve been following you for quite awhile, I’m not as clueless as I used to be!

Just so you know, I bought my 100 .info domains, signed up for a hostgator reseller account, and have been studying all day about putting the pieces together.

I figured I’d take a little break and watch your latest video. Yipes! Okay, I’m getting back to work … I promise. (Fact is, I was raised on a farm, so “work” is an old friend.)

Thanks for the education, and thanks for caring.

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 01:52 (Reply)

And Shirley remember since you will be working BANS not much to fuck up on if it was an Adsense niche then yeah your Adsense account would be in play but with BANS anything you fuck up we can always fix ;) SO the important thing is to get those 100 sites up 3 keywords each BMD Articles Directorys and comments on all 3 pages for each BANS site and then we can go back and either fix things or keep adding a few more keywords on each BANS site and remember you are not alone you can always come here and leave a comment and either me or one of the great folks that read this blog will help also with Vic’s and Justin’s super duper secret project all you folks will have direct access to us daily ;)

    Vic,

Since you have BMD on 4 computers, did you need to buy 4 copies of it or can we just use 1 copy and have it run on multiple comps. I’m thinking about buying a few extra comps so I can do muli long BMD runs while I’m at the 9 to 5.

Can’t wait for the Vic and Justin show to start!

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 02:28 (Reply)

I have 4 licenses because I love Edwin and I support him but sometimes when it verifies the license it lets you get 2 computers at the same time and their license system does not catch it.

  17. Nick on 14.04.2008 at 02:25 (Reply)

Thanks Vic. Great post. I apologize for emailing you, but you have to realize, when your following people for 8 months and finally realize that you have been getting false information, you just got to reach out to someone and touch something real. I didn’t realize that I had been doing dumb shit until I saw Grizz’s post in there and had analyzed my site almost to a T. I’ve reached out to him also, but haven’t heard back, so if you got time Grizz, I’d like to talk to you sometime. So anyways, I’m guessing you are talking about me in there. Just wanna say thanks again, and I look forward to the contest. I appreciate you taking time out of your schedule to talk to me.

BTW: Your a funny ass dude, this post is awesome.

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 02:31 (Reply)

He will get in touch buddy just give him a break he is like way back on things mainly cuz of answering comments on his blog and spending time on my blog LMAO so he had to get to his network and business plus Grizz also owns a fishing lodge and multiple traditional business so as you might imagine he has tons of stuff on his plate.

I look forward to getting the contest going I think you will be amazed how Google reacts to some of the things that I will be teaching you folks and how you that are in a sports niche will just fucking kill on weekends on your blog ;)

      1. Nick on 14.04.2008 at 05:39 (Reply)

Oh yea, I figured Grizz is a busy guy. I’m not too worried about it. I’m sure I will figure it all out by reading his posts.

This is a seminal post Vic. It’s what Unleashed is all about! Make sure you have a link to it front and center. It’s the video the new folks need to see. Either it will click and they’ll join us or they’ll be scared and go running all the way back to their friendly twittering…

    Hey Vic,
    Great Post.

Quick question. I’m a newcomer to the site….(filled out the form for the contest!) but the big “New to Blogger Unleashed? Click Here” in the Banner….is that a joke? Am I falling for a rookie joke here? An initiation of some sort? Or is it just not linked to anything?

Like an idiot I keep clicking it hoping it will someday lead me somewhere. (I think thats the definition of insane…repeating the same action expecting a new outcome) Maybe I am.

    Thanks!

Steve no it is not a joke LMAO!! Even though now that you mention it it kind of would be funny. Our server was hacked a few months ago and I still have some things broken and because of lack time I have not fixed it but I will this week.

You mention you filled the contest email form I have not received it yet make sure you fulfill all the requirements and I will get you in ;)

Vic I just resent my info on the contest vid. I submitted it via the comment section under the contest video. Did you get it? Or was I supposed to send it some other way? Why am alwasy confused on your site lately? Geez as you can see I really need to be a contestant. Show me the light!

I got it and you are in ;) Thanks for taking the time.

Did I get the message right? More links, more links, and DO THE WORK everyday.

Nice to know you can screw up a lot with BANS and still get paid. I’m living proof..totally new to what really works and the money is starting to trickle in.

Did you ever get a chance to look at your BANS stats and see if there is much difference in conversion for the minimalistic theme or full store set up?

I’m just putting up all my domains for now with simple logos and will go back and make them pretty later. I’d rather get paid now :)

    Thanks again Vic!

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 05:31 (Reply)

Ohh shoot yes I forgot about this question my best CTR right now is a hybrid I between the minimalistic and the regular header tomorrow I will show it.

    Vic,

This is now one of my favorite videos! It reminded me of one of my favorite scenes from the movie “Boiler Room” when Ben Affleck is yelling at the junior brokers about “how to close” - basically telling them to get off their asses and do the work. I’ll be watching this one every time I need some motivation. Keep it simple and do the work. It can’t get anymore basic than that. I look forward to the day I can pay it forward. Time for me to get to work. Thank you. :)

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 12:52 (Reply)

“Boiler Room” LMAO!!! Love the movie and just love the message in it.

You can definitely see the Sales Manager experience peeking through! Awesome video. I’m happy to see how much your blog has grown, especially in the last week, because that means that more ears are listening to the truth you tell.

You’re definitely justified in being fed up with answering the same questions over and over. You already have a huge body of work in the archives. Would you be opposed to someone creating a FAQ for BU? Maybe I could use my Squidoo lens for that.

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 12:54 (Reply)

I am so grateful that people keep finding us and having a real shot at making some cash ;) I will look at the FAQ ;)

      1. DVS on 14.04.2008 at 15:56 (Reply)

I don’t have anything put together yet. But if you’re for it, I can work on a FAQ on my lens. I’ll go through and make a list of the questions I see get a lot of repeats. Especially the ones you mentioned in this vid.

Vic, that’s an awesome video take. You got me worried for a while when you became overwhelmed with animated passion about us who are still sitting on their asses. Thought the blood pressure might shoot up, LMAO! But all’s well that ends well.

Vic your vid is right on the money! It get’s the point across and wakes people up. On another note, I finally got BANS installed on one of my domains! I screwed with everything so much that I don’t even know how I did it. But I just got to do it 99 more times…some how.

I guess it gets easier after you do a few installs. Seems like quite a process though I’m sure it’s worth it.

It still would be cool to see a step by step Vic Vid :)

    1. lissie on 14.04.2008 at 07:38 (Reply)

Chris - read the installation guide pdf - in fact have it open on 1 screen and follow thru every little detail, in order on your site - it is the best guide I’ve ever seen with this type of software - it really does cover everything - now if there was just something of a similar quality for BDM!

    2. Marjorie on 14.04.2008 at 07:53 (Reply)

If you’ve got a reseller account, have a look at Justin’s vid for today. He tells how to upload to the skeleton files and it saves a ton of time with each install.

I’ve got the hostgator reseller account Vic talks about and put BANS in the skeleton files so that it is ready to go with each new account created. All you have to do next is create the database, remove the install file and go straight to the admin panel. Takes about 2 minutes for a new site.

does it have to be a reseller account? I missed that video.

        1. Vic on 15.04.2008 at 00:33 (Reply)

If you are starting with a good sum of sites yes it will be best is it a must of course not but if you are starting with one a few domains you can start with a cheap Host Gator plan and when you get your first paycheck upgrade to a reseller they will help you move your sites.

If you click on the banner for Host Gator you can get the first month for one cent with the coupon code “Vic”

    Hey Vic,

You raise a very good point. This stuff isn’t rocket science. Those of us who’ve been following you guys for a little while should already have a relatively good idea of what needs to be done.

You’re inspired me … but, maybe not in the exact way you intended.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours a day on the computer reading. It’s getting to the point where even my wife, who’s patient as a saint, is rolling her eyes at me when I say “I’ll be off in a minute”.

You know what’s kind of ironic?

The percentage of readers here, who actually still have a blog about MMO or Blogging … you know, the ones they all wrote on to tell people about you. (I fell into that trap as well … blogging about blogging sometimes)

Personally, I’m going to swear of “Internet Marketing” and “About Blogging” blogs. (cleared out my feed reader about an hour ago) I’ll stay subscribed to yours and Grizz’s but I’m not going to be spending any amount of time in the future commenting on posts about who’s a dumbass and who’s a scammer.

I’m just going to build my local niche blog (thank you very much for the idea btw), and a couple of ebay affiliate sites.

Maybe even buy an egg timer that limits my computer time to no more than an hour a day.

Making money is one thing … but ignoring my family to do it kind of defeats the whole purpose. Don’t you think?

Anyhow, I appreciate what I have been able to learn here these past couple of months.

I’ll be rooting for you to take over the blogosphere, and send all the “scammers” and “fakers” packing.

    Have fun with that.

    Later,
    Todd

Many studies have already proved that what we do is addictive as a second non sensory world is established sometimes setting a crash course between our real lives and our virtual ones.

You know what’s kind of ironic?

The percentage of readers here, who actually still have a blog about MMO or Blogging … you know, the ones they all wrote on to tell people about you. (I fell into that trap as well … blogging about blogging sometimes)

And I am extremely great full as it might have save thousands and thousands of dollars to unsuspecting noobs. Their is a reader here that I will not mention the name that spent over $1,500 on “Blog Mastermind” products to never see one cent in return and just because you and others took the time to make a post about us that same person has already made $500 since following our advice, so feel proud you helped some one.

Very smart thing spend more time getting links as a matter of fact when the day comes that you feel that you have learned everything that you can learn from me or Grizz I would drop us also from the feed so you can spend time on what really is important.

I’m just going to build my local niche blog (thank you very much for the idea btw), and a couple of ebay affiliate sites.

The way I teach this business is all about set and forget. It takes me only around 2 hours from start to a finished built and promoted BANS site and maybe 4 hours on a wordpress niche so I would make sure to have multiple streams of income.

Maybe even buy an egg timer that limits my computer time to no more than an hour a day.

Making money is one thing … but ignoring my family to do it kind of defeats the whole purpose. Don’t you think?

A trap many of us have fallen in. At the end of the day money is worthless but my family and looking at my kids straight in the face with out shame is the most important things in my life this is why I could not scam a person just to make money as you so well state much more important things then making money ;)

Anyhow, I appreciate what I have been able to learn here these past couple of months.

If one thing I said or wrote in my crazy and distorted way makes you one dollar profit I am happy for that.

I’ll be rooting for you to take over the blogosphere, and send all the “scammers” and “fakers” packing.

      Have fun with that.

      Later,

Do not know about taking over the blogosphere LMAO!! But tell you what Todd when my maker comes to take me to another place I am quite sure I will pass judgment and man I sleep like a baby ;)

    Hi Vic Mate,

Thanks for the vid. As you know its my birthday on thursday (hope you can sing happy birthday).

The wife and kids are giving me enough to buy BANS and some domains, and I have raised enough to pay for the first months Hosting. So, can you answer a couple of questions so I am ready to go on friday?

1 - How do I get the domains from Godaddy to hostgator?

2 - How long does it take to move them?

3 - Where can I get a list of sites to book mark, as I will have to do this manually for now? The same with directories?

4 - Key word stuffing, how many keywords per 100 words?

5 - Should I submit one article per page or per site?

6 - I know I need as many anchored links as I can get, but as I want to get as many sites up and running as quickly as posibble, is there a minimum number I should aim for, before moving on to the next site?

Sorry for all the questions but you know me LOL.

I will let you know how I get on.

    Thanks for all your help

Sorry me again, I forgot something.

In your vid you mentioned about Google web master tools.

I have been waiting for 3 weeks for the link stats etc to show up.

Since then my indexed pages have dropped to only a couple.

Do you recommened removing google webmaster tools from my site, i.e the site map? Or should I have not used it in the first place?

@ John, re getting the domains from GoDaddy to hostgator - hostgator will send you an email after you signup with something called “nameservers”, you have to login to your GoDaddy account, click manage domains, select your domain, click nameservers (custom) and enter in both of them.

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 13:33 (Reply)

Jason buddy your site is not resolving on my end I have not seen your site since yesterday

      1. Jason on 14.04.2008 at 14:57 (Reply)

Baah, Hosting. Don’t even ask, I’m already way pissed off about it.

Rule number 1 when starting a social blog - never take the free “lifetime” domain that is tied to your Hosting accounts and then decide to switch hosts as you’ll lose traffic and revenue while they f*ckup trying to get it transferred.

On a more positive note, I got accepted for the eBay Partner Network and will be buying BANS + a whole host of domains over the next week. I’m not sure if eBay Partner Network is the one your readers were having problems signing up for, but what I did is select “Paid Placement” for the business model and state that I would promote eBay by placing ads on affiliate blogs (load of balls but I didn’t want to point them at my semi-dead blog) - I got accepted about ten minutes later. Something your readers might want to try, I think they’re tougher when you submit a website for them to manually review.

Lastly, your videos aren’t working, must be my sh!t Internet connection. That’s two days of no humour, and the clown nose piqued my interest too :(

Oh yeah, I should probably stop with the f*cking essay in your comment section and get around to the sites. Laters! :)

        1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 15:17 (Reply)

That is such an awesome point I will make sure that I mention that in a vid it is one of those things Hosting companies do to tie people into hoting for a year with them. I hope the shit gets resolved quickly.

Thanks for that pointer on Ebay I will let all know again thanks Jason ;)

Quick question mate. 1-2 aged (like ten year old) .COM domains or 10-20 brand new .INFO? I’ve heard that Google Sandbox is a b!tch, but GoDaddy’s .INFO prices atm are pretty tempting :)

I’ve got around 90 domains with me, have to stop racking them up. To stick with the title of this post, I have promised myself that I will have my first BANS site setup and ready to go by the end of this week. ;)

I use to think keyword stuffing and content were king until you stated in a previous post about wikipedia and how they can have the word one time on the page and get first page rank. That changed my whole few, and I have been going after links, links, and more links ever since.

    Hi Vic
I understand the link thing. But I have a question about keywords too (another reader asked this too): on keyword stuffing what amount is safe to not get banned?
This is the only question remaining in my brain - everthing else is clear. Hope you answer

    Mia

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 16:08 (Reply)

Mia go to Grizz site he has a post at his site that he explains in detail http://makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com/ I wish I understood blogger better but I really suck at finding post on blogger hopefully Grizz can take some time from working and post the link here.

      1. Grizzly on 14.04.2008 at 20:54 (Reply)

        Mia,

After much testing I have reduced Keyword usage to a pretty simple formula. Use the main keyword in your post Title. Once in a header. A couple of times in the post and that’s it. You should however use plenty of relevant terms throughout the post to add credibility - this reinforces your topic as Google uses LSI technology to gauge whether your post is actually about the topic mentioned in the post title or whether you just stuffed it full of keywords.

ie. Your post title is “How to make a BANS site”

If your post contains only that term and never mentions ebay, products, themes etc then Google will think you are just spam. Basically just write a natural article about whatever subject you like and then make sure to have the main keyword in the Title, a header and once or twice in the post. Less is more. The bots are pretty good at deciphering what you are about.

Forget everything you have read about keyword density - not needed and not necessary. The Post title is the most significant indicator used. Just remember to use lots of relevant long tail keywords throughout the text. The more diverse the better.

        Best of luck Mia.

  38. Kinsey on 14.04.2008 at 16:49 (Reply)

Oh man. I am on it. I’ve just bought a whole bunch of domains and am waiting for the DNS servers to kick in.

Some of these will be for BANS, some for adsense, some for affiliate products. Most of them were .com domains - nice ones - so there might be some decent resell value to them too. I’m also going to put some domains that I bought earlier to use too - so that they start getting old and more authoritative. And i have made a mental note to stop buying domains when coming home drunk and happy from a swell night out. Not sure why I thought axelene.com was a hot url to buy. yikes. But she’s all mine.

Vic? what’s the best way to tell which moneymaking direction to go for a certain URL? I have taken it to heart what you said - CHOOSE ONE monetizing method. I did some preliminary free keyword search and for some of my domain names, there seems to be both high paying google ads with little competition, as well as Ebay products.

Oh man - I am so addicted that I haven’t even checked my emails from clients in 3 days. I have no time to build sites for others (I’m a web designer) when I have so much work to do for meself :) Must feed my new addiction. Must build a hundred blogs.

Ok - more to do on my action plan:

I have to try to figure out how to make Court’s SEO Wordpress theme a bit more psychedelically neon in colour ;) http://courtneytuttle.com/seo-wordpress-themes/

Build my local niche site. I’m also moving across the country and so is a good time to set up a local niche site. I am also going to set up a local niche site for my non-tech friend who will take care of content while we split revenue.

Next, buy your recommended software - and learn how to use it.

And find time to write articles. I’ve been reading Griz’s site too…how the hell is that guy able to write so many long - and totally entertaining articles? Every essay I ever handed in at university was late…that’ll be the toughest block…

Thanks Vic. Keep those lessons coming.

    Kinsey

    1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 17:33 (Reply)

I actually work monetization backward. In other words first I choose the monetization then I make the site.

So example right now anything related to products I will do everything possible to work Ebay service and products I can not find I work Adsense if their is competion if not then I find a matching affilite.

If you are new and do not fully understand Adsense start with BANS to get you goign till you keep reading and watching my videos where I will explain in detail how to built sites for Adsense.

Look at this video to see if it helps in keyword selection to get you going http://bloggingzombie.com/BANS/setting-up-BANS-sites/

      1. Kinsey on 14.04.2008 at 18:33 (Reply)

Yeah…I am trying to do this first too - choose monetizing before building.

In your comment are you saying that for Adsense, you want the competition? If there is no competition, you choose an affiliate product?
“products I can not find I work Adsense if their is competion if not then I find a matching affilite.”

I bought some domain names with products in them so I will BANS those. I watched that video before..good stuff.

I’ve tried Adsense on one site, and make a dollar a day. It was not a product site though, more of a Flagship site. This is the first time I am going for the money…so can’t wait for your adsense videos.

        1. Vic on 14.04.2008 at 18:54 (Reply)

Adsense CPC value is based on Adwords competition

    Hey Vic,
I’m trying to piece together enough knowledge on BANS sites from all your posts as I can. this vlog helped a lot. Just trying to get an idea of the money I’m going to need to start. (gonna go in search of some loans!…my fiance will be thrilled ha ha) Correct me if I’m wrong here:
25 a month for a reseller account on Host Gator
99 dollars for 100 .info domains
    97 for bookmarking demon
and then need an article submission software (any recommendations) and a directory submission software (again recommendations?).
