Today many people are facing Ebay Affiliate Program Rejection. But the important thing is that even though you got rejected from the Ebay Affiliate Program the game is not over.

Guys, as I’ve said previously, keep trying. It took me over a -month- before they finally accepted me I just kept pestering them. They used to take a looong time to respond when with CJ, and with the migration just starting today, it might improve or it might take them some time to clear things up like Vic said. This is all down to being patient and plugging away. While you pester and wait for them, spend time to set up other sites for other monetization methods as well. If you get accepted, great! If you don’t, at least you work on other methods. Don’t give up man.
And since Vic basically repeated what I suggested
yes, tell them what you plan to do with BANS and list a few domains and the best is to show them an active site that you have. If you already have BANS, even better set one site up (of course it won’t have the ID/link to be useful yet but don’t concern yourself with that first) and then show it to them. Remember this is business and if you want to be a business partner (affiliate) the best way is to show them you are serious about it so that they know they aren’t wasting time as well.
Yeah shit my bad LMAO It took Revver like fucking 2 hours to approve my video by the time they had approved it you guys had said everything I said on the video i felt like a dumbfuck by publishing it but mmm I really like seeing myself on video LMAO
hmmm … I guess I just got lucky. I was approved for all the ebay networks in literally about 30 seconds.
I did also man and I made the video thinking all would be approved the same and felt horrible when I read some of the guys getting rejected talk about feeling like a dick
Yup. I got rejected instantly and I’m going into full depression.
I had to make 4 appeals before I was able get in when i applied through CJ and I actually made 2 BANS sites without any affiliations just to prove to them that I’m serious.
It’s the same again with the new Partner program. Instant rejection. I sent an appeal listing out all my eight BANS sites hoping they will reconsider. I’m keeping my fingers tightly crossed as they did response within 2 hours saying that they have forwarded my appeal to the people in charge with a promise that they will get back to me within 3 working days.
Think I’ll go and do some praying now. I certainly do not want to end up with a bunch of BANS sites that is worthless.
Buddy did you tell them that you where already approved by them before with CJ?
yes, even gave them my CJ account number and all my PIDs for all the sites.
I guess I got lucky as I was approved in seconds, I have a question did those of you who id get rejected with your BANS urls? I have become adept at reconsideration letters if I can be a help.
Hey, it’s important, if you were approved with CJ to mention that to them. This is what that eBay lady asked me after my first email. So it’s important to them not to reject their former partners.
I was afraid to mention BANS in my emails, because I didn’t know how much they agree with it, but now I’m going to set up a few sites and send her the 3rd email later on today.
Hey Vic,
Yes you are right. I am definitely not a quitter, but at the time I was just frustrated and angry. After sleeping over it, finally their contact form that I couldn’t find the previous day was revealed to me. I just sent them the first message, I will bug the hell out of them until they approve me.
This comment might not be straight on topic, but it is important: I’ve just tried to set up a BANS site on Dreamhost (as I already have an account with them) and it is not working. So, if any of you think of not getting hostgator, think twice, because you may waste your money on Hosting you won’t be able to use.
I’m another one of the lucky guys, I logged in first thing in the morning yesterday and got approved right away. One nice bonus of living in Europe we’re at least 6 hours in front of you guys in the US! I guess I beat the rush.
The editor tools wouldn’t work at first, then by mid afternoon I could use them to re-code with the new eBay aff id all my sites that use it. BTW if you don’t know what that is, its eBay’s own BANS-style software - its just a little more work, but the result is the same.
I’m going for the jugular with this setting up as many sites in different niches as I can with this.
Vic I have a question for you buddy.
Collecting domain real estate takes time, we all know that. So while I’m doing that in the mean-time I’m setting up subdomain sites using the main keyword in the subdomain name. The TLD is a four character nothing name, so its good for all niche keywords - one size fits all!
I remember reading somewhere that the SE’s treat subdomains the same as any other site.
I’ve always believed I have the same chance of competing in the SERPs with a subdomain site as a top level domain site, assuming all SEO is equal.
Vic, what’s your take on doing that?
I know individual domains are best, no question. But as a way of increasing the number of sites out there is this a good way to go?
I was approved instantly but have been a seller on ebay for years not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.
Vic,
Question on competing monetization…
Lets say I have a BANS site for antique cars and that BANS site has sub-cats for ford, chevy, etc.
Let say I also have niche blogs for antique-ford and antique-chevy.
Knowing how you feel about competing monetization…should I go with only Adsense on the niche blogs, or use them to drive traffic to the appropriate BANS sub-cat page, or…(fill in the blank here)?
Thom
Think I’ll wait a few days for the dust to settle before applying the BANS ePN upgrade.
Hold off.
Hi guys,
How could you get accepting in ebaypartnernetwork ?
They rejected me 3rd times.
Any suggestion ?
Thanks
