Entrecard

In a past vlog post I mentioned Entrecard after a question made by Steve. I promised that I would make another vlog post going more in depth why I think that Entrecard sucks. The main reason behind this vlog post about Entrecard besides explaining it, is the fact that if you are using Entrecard you are basically wasting your time and at the same time not doing what you should be doing to grow your online business. I noticed John Cow has the widget on his blog again. He was probably paid (again) to install it. That’s the way to make money with EntreCard.
One thing that you didn’t mention was that having it on a blog where you have Adsense is a good way to get “smart priced”. Of course, OpenAds would help there.
The main positive thing I can say about EntreCard is that it doesn’t suck nearly as much as BlogRush.
Frank that has to be cuz the Cow had them on his post almost every other day talking shit so they probably passed some cash to keep him quiet if this was done smart indeed.
BlogRush I really do not want to even get started on that.

Vic, your new set up is sweet. That was a very entertaining video.
I had some fun playing around with Entrecard for a while. But I had to remove the widget as well. The time commitment for maintaining a good ranking is incredible.
I never did drop too many cards but I won a lot of credits so I was able to advertise and move up quickly. But it took too much effort to maintain that ranking.
Like you I waited until all of my advertisers were through before I removed the widget. I love your videos. Keep it up.
Yeah the virtual studio thing is fun keep looking at the background on the videos I will keep changing the camera shots it is so cool.
Entrecard was useless for me. One day I traced all of my entrecard site hits down and only 3 out of 156 people did more than just click on the Entrecard Widget. What a waste of time!
I find it so funny those that argue how good it is I would love to hear them in 6 months when they notice they are still in the same place they are now LMAO
Just for the record, I never used Entrecard. After seeing what BlogRush did not do for me and I gave it a real chance, that was my main reason of not using Entrecard in the first place.

The crazy thing about BlogRush is that Steve these people had a multi million dollar start up and just failed from the beginning.

But this video is really funny, and to tell the truth I experienced the same shit. As soon as I stopped dropping cards like a mad man, I got almost zero traffic from Entrecard.
LMAO Welcome buddy! Yeah it is just one of those deals as soon as you stop the dropping you start seeing the decline until it goes to basically zero.

That was one of your funnier Posts! Looks like you’re really enjoying doing the videos. I get a kick out of watching them - hope you continue for a while. I’m guessing that the equipment didn’t come cheap so you must be in it for a while.
Anyways - guess where I’m going? Off to remove EntreCard from my Bookshop Blog. I’ve been thinking about it for a few weeks. Really funny video again, LMAO!
Tried entrecard for a month and think it’s really poor, plus their server was really pants with crashing all the time.
Oh, and great backdrop - look forward to some more different ones.
Well, my experience has not been good. I get between 50 to 100 hits a day from Entrecard and I haven’t dropped a card for about 6 weeks (except when I did my contest). I don’t have Adsense on my blog anymore so I can’t get smart priced.
I’ll take 50 to 100 hits a day for zero effort anyday as it certainly does no harm to me.

Agreed about Entrecard… I’ll be dropping it at the end of the month. Only good thing about it is that you can make some decent pocket change (outsource the credit dropping and then sell them)…
As mentioned by some that worship the system you get what you put in… problem is I CBA to drop 300 cards a day.

I never did get the entrecard thing. I used blogrush for a couple of weeks back when I didn’t know any better.
All of these things make no sense to me. If I take the time to build up my blog, why in the world would I want to give up control of what type of sites I advertise to my readers?

First time here, I got here from dropping my card on a blog then read the post and it was about this post. Talking bad about entrecard is bringing you traffic.
I drop my card on 300 blogs in 30 mins. The ones I can relate too, I read.
What entrecard allow me to do. By dropping 300 a day. I am running a contest on my blog givingaway 10,000 ec credits along with other prizes.
Many blogs accept ec credits as payment for ad space. I do not buy ad space on the entrecard widget for a day when I can spend a few more credits for ad space for a week or a month.
So what I get from it is totally free advertisement.
Well everyone has a different opinion. I think the main factor that gives the importance of entrecard for a blogger is really the level of his blogs.
We cannot compare the opinion of a successful blogger like problogger with the opinion of a blogger that has just started and maybe does not have or want to invest too much money into adversing.
Probably most newbies don’t even have what it takes to advertise.
I think entrecard is one of the best ways to get free traffic to your blogs. With little every day work you can build up your traffic an d not only that entrecard can pay for any newbie’s monthly expenses.
At the end I’d like to say that I really enjoy reading blogger unleashed , keep up the good work.
