I have never understood how a person can take and hour to write a great post and then make a submission with copy paste and in the process give BZ and there blog a duplicate content filter penalty.
When you make a submission to BZ write an original intro DO NOT COPY PASTE from your article you are hurting yourself and you are hurting every blogger that takes there time at BZ making a proper submission.
Try to make the submission keyword focus. This will help your submission immensely rank higher using our authority from BZ. Remember even the title you can change a bit it does not have to be exactly like your site.
Ask your readers to visit your site. As you may see in my submissions I do not do that. But this is because the readers I am targeting is you guys BZ users but lets say Mike and Jason who write about movies and TV do not assume that the reader who comes from Google knows how to use BZ and Digg.com believe this or not there are tons of people out there that have never used Digg.com in there life. It is crazy how many people I see arriving to a post at BZ and they click out because they though that the submission was the whole post.
What is doing better at BZ right now is none blogging related material. This is because we are still building authority on these keywords. So it might be beneficial for you how to make money bloggers to once a while write an off topic post about something happening today this is a trick to use current news to your advantage. You might not have authority on your blog but use Blogging’s Zoom authority. We are constantly ranking top five with current events.
Stop worrying so much about landing on the front page and how fast you leave it. Do not worry about this worry about making a proper submission so we can get you tons of hits from organic traffic. This will be your money readers. New fresh organic traffic.
Be original stop the heard mentality. Notice that the original material is the one that gets the most views.
Stop worrying about Zooms many readers from the organic side do not subscribe to vote but in our stats I can see them get hundreds of hits from search engines. I will give you a perfect example.

This post has 35 days and only 17 Zooms but yet in those 35 days this post has had 875 Unique hits from Google.

Now for all those that have bitched that they are not getting this results well guess what look at this submission. His submission is keyword focused all original content did not do the stupid shit of adding spaces just to clear the 350 character rule (YES PEOPLE I AM NOT AN IDIOT I KNOW YOU DO THAT)
Now this is just traffic from Google this is not counting inside search traffic or the other search engines
Please Folks take your time and do a proper submission. Stop with the space shit and the copy pace crap. Respect others that take time to do a proper submission and do not give them a duplicate content filter because of your laziness.

Mike shoot you are one of the newest you where not yet at BZ when we made all our other post so you get a freebie, but geezz there are people who have been since the beginning and they are still doing it.
The way I’ve been doing it is copy&paste, then some rewriting, and finally a phrase or two for the BloggingZoom users. I’m hoping that’s not too bad.
I must have missed that copy and paste thing too…. oops. I did read about it a couple days ago, but didn’t realize the Headline should also change.
Yeah, I started off doing the copy and paste stuff, but quickly realized that was stupid. I’ve been trying to get creative and work in as many keywords as possible. It can be a challenge and sometimes you start getting lazy, but we KNOW it will pay off in the long run…
Tim no my bad you do not have to change thew title what I meant to say was if you wanted to change a bit the title around you can but you do not have to. But the content yes because if not you and BZ will get a duplicate content filter penalty
I’m going to consider my wrist slapped. I can actually blame Mike who turned me on to BZ for the cut and past submissions, but I’ll note this is a no-no and change going forward.
Scotty, buddy at the end of the day it is for your benefit. We can get constantly submissions to rank top 3 positions on Google but we need a good submission to do that. The goal is always to get you the blogger more traffic.

BZ should add some text like:
Read the full post on …… when it on the full page. A bit like the read more>> on the list of post. That might help newcomers to BZ
Steve that is really good I will add this to the list. We have added tons of new things we are just waiting for one thing to be finished to do the the next step up.

Ok I feel stupid, thanks for the post
I’ve been working on making my submission extracts more titillating to get folks to visit the sites I’ve submitted. I’m not sure if I’ve ever done the copy&paste thing but I’ve never done the space thing. Interesting.
Anyway, I wanted to add that more people should actually visit the sites they’re zooming. I’ve had 15 of 16 posts go hot and a couple of those were for my own site (yes, sir, you got me for not submitting my own stuff. I’m properly chastised. :)) and through them I’ve realized that not a lot of people read before zooming (or after for that matter). For instance, one of my submissions has 12 zooms, but the post has only received 6 hits from BZ. I’m all about getting organic search, but I’d like for more people to know what they’re zooming.
