Bloggers Are Just Lazy

by Vic on December 17, 2007

I read everyday how things are not working , but I ask you are you doing everything in your hands to make it happen? Court started a new really cool thing on his website almost three weeks ago now and yet I look at how many people are taking this opportunity and again I ask my self mmm WTF! Here you have a guy with 1071 Feed Readers and he let’s people go and make a post on his Blog and mmm people are not doing it again WHAT THE FUCK!! So go to Court’s site right now and sign up for his You Blog do not be complaining you have no traffic and at the same time be wasting opportunities to get your name out there.

Old saying in business. Plan the work and work the plan. Unfortunately everyday it seems I come to people that just seem to work there business with the throw to see if it sticks method. There is no doubt that you might get lucky once in a while but at the end of the day you need to have a solid well researched game plan.

After reading this morning, Court’s blog I was amazed on how few people where taking this awesome advantage. Again If I was having trouble with traffic OMG I would be so all over that. But the facts are the facts, bloggers sometimes are just plain lazy, they got into blogging because they have heard of how you can become rich by sitting in front of a computer and you could be your own boss. LMAO Yeah right. Blogging is more then hard work, any online business is multiplied by 100 versus a traditional business to having success. So you sometimes have to work double hard to have minimum results. Those that know me and have my Skype know that I am almost always online and sometimes doing 5 things at the same time and 5 Skype windows open.

Folks my point, sometimes with 200% effort we 10% results but to expect 100% results from 10% effort is just ridiculous. Are you really doing everyhting you can to get results? When a friend comes over to go to the mall, do you go to the mall or decide to stay to get 5 more links today? You cant go to the mall and expect your online business to grow by itself.

Don I was actually talking about this same thing with a young blogger I just met a few months ago but have grown to just love this kid to death. He gets frustrated because his results are not what he expects. But yet for him to support his family he has to go to a regular job as you do.

Sometimes when we have a regular job we can not expect the same results bloggers that are all day in his computer can deliver. So if you are a part time blogger by definition your growth will be slower.

The important thing is to keep moving forward.

Well, the downside of his plan is that (if I'm reading it correctly) he only wants Internet Marketing posts, so a guy like me with my entertainment blog is kind of left out.

Granted, I could just post about something I know, but it seems like I'm portraying my blog's topic falsely.

Mike you are totally wrong. The people that will benefit the most are niche bloggers like you. Mike we all go to the movies we all want to read reviews. Right now two of my favorite blogs is yours and Jason. All you have to do is write a post how you are marketing your website what you think and what has worked for you. Some one that wants to learn from your experience will benefit and in the process guess what OMG I bet you he would love to know how good I am Legend is BAM you just got a new reader.

Nah, it didn't suck, but if you loved the book, the movie not like it at all, so that's my problem. Otherwise, I guess most people will enjoy it for the fun it was, although the ending was just okay.

You should still see it and then come back and let me know, that's the fun of reviews :)

So please give me till tomorow and I send you that. As for using Court's site do the same thing as Mike write about what you know and have done and has worked for you. Same thing with something that has not worked. All experiences are good ans sometimes we learn more from the bad than the good.

I've been trying to think of something to write for Courtney's blog. It's a great opportunity. The stupid real world keeps dragging me down… :) Mike and I joke all the time how we're going to end up getting fired from our "real" jobs for spending so much time on blog related endeavors. Blogging is real work, though, and it does take time. Luckily I have a few days off in a couple weeks so maybe I can't write some of those articles I've been outlining in my head…and on those sticky pads at work…

If anyone tracked our viewing habits and time spent, I'm sure we'd both be wanting to start up a real blog for money ASAP since we'd be out of jobs…

Very well defined. LOL. I must admit that I too am a lazy bugger sometimes. The day Court opened up his blog for people like us, I saw a golden opportunity and started drafting one almost immediately, thinking I will submit a really kickass article to make myself known.

As it is, i got caught up with other things and now the article that I have been planning for Court's blog is hanging in mid-air. LOL

Costa please take the time I know sometimes it is just hard. Right now I have 3 desktops full of different windows just trying to keep up and running on empty 20 hours a day. Go get that published on Court's site you never know who might read today and bam you have a SuperStumbler become your fan.

Vic, many bloggers trying to make money aren't just lazy – they bitch a hell lot as well ;) Try having to feed people other than themselves and they might spend more time working instead. ;)
