Glad I figured out my issues with my PC. Thanks for clarifying duplicate links.

Justin, I cannot find your email address anywhere so perhaps you can contact me through Vic.

Vic I will be emailing you tomorrow. And glad to hear your YouTube video is going so well.

    1. Vic on 01.04.2008 at 15:04 (Reply)

Denise I gave Justin your email pls let me know if he got in touch ;)

Vic, I am sorry I missed it if you mentioned it but what is Justin’s URL for his blog that you mentioned.

If anyone wants to have any input into the design and functionality or see an output example of the content mangler I’m working on that Vic mentioned, see this post at OpTempo Niche Blog Content Ideas and Experiences.

I look so forward to seeing the app.

Is this site legit? Seems like a joke.

he guarantee that you will earn 10k per month after 90days, if not he will pay you 1k.

he earns 1.5k affiliate commission and he will still profit $500 even after paying out 1k.

    1. Vic on 02.04.2008 at 00:56 (Reply)

Peter total scam do not waste your hard earned cash ;)

  5. DVS on 01.04.2008 at 03:08 (Reply)

If it’s the right Justin, his site is blendworx.com

    1. Justin on 01.04.2008 at 03:49 (Reply)

blendworx was a blog I worked on for a while, but this is going to be a new site with lots of useful things. It should be ready in the next day or 2.

I submitted an article and I know for a fact I had 3 anchored links but they’re not there, unless I did something wrong.

    1. Vic on 01.04.2008 at 15:05 (Reply)

Buddy email me the links and keywrods I will do it hopefully today I will figur out what is wrong.

  7. Mel on 01.04.2008 at 04:08 (Reply)

  8. Justin B on 01.04.2008 at 04:20 (Reply)

Thanks so much for the advice Vic.

I saw your link farm post a while back, but hadn’t worked on one yet.

Going to shift my focus and get it build up.

Thanks for spending so much time on my question =)

Hi Vic. Thanks for mentioning AutoCheck.com — much appreciated. :-)

Carfax sells unlimited reports for about $30 US, and AutoCheck sells unlimited reports for about $25.

AutoCheck has an affiliate program; as an insider, I cannot participate, but anyone reading this should feel free to do so. And, if you have any issues with the way we close, I can send them over to the marketing and web teams.

    Hi Vic,

    Question regarding link farms:

I have read that getting links from different IPs are far, far better than getting links from the same IPs. If I were to create a link farm by setting up a dozen wordpress sites under the same Hosting, wouldn’t they all have the same IP and therefore be an ineffective link farm?

BTW, thanks for doing what you do. Hopefully I’ll be able to pay it forward as you’ve requested; this is an ideology lost in today’s greedy world.

    1. Vic on 01.04.2008 at 15:07 (Reply)

Do not worry about this buddy but I explain better on the upcoming comments post ;)

Yo Vic, thanks for recommending xroxy. I just bought the service and I wonder what settings did you use to filter the proxy list for use in BMD.

    especially
    Proxy port:
    Type of proxy:
    Latency:
    Reliability:

    1. Vic on 01.04.2008 at 15:09 (Reply)

Lance do not use a proxy for scuttle you do not need and all it will do is slow down the process. For the real social sites just use one ip per run this way it will not slow your tagging of course only use one account then create another account and change the proxy ip

I applied today for the newly created eBay affiliate program and I got this:

“Thank you for applying to the eBay Partner Network. Unfortunately, we cannot accept your application at this time. If you have questions regarding this process, please contact eBay Partner Network customer support.”

Vic, any idea wtf is going on?

    1. Vic on 01.04.2008 at 15:51 (Reply)

Paul What The Fuck!!!! I just finished my comment post and I said we had instant approval because I did mmm. Ok Paul where are you from? Country etc…

What did you write in the comments description part?

And do not worry will get you approve. Do you have BANS already?

      1. Paul on 01.04.2008 at 16:20 (Reply)

Well, maybe they have a handful since it’s the first day? People may be swarming, and certain countries may be getting top priority and the rest of us are being put on hold and given nasty automated messages? Because the message was automatic, 5 seconds after I completed my application.
I have a cool little niche website that would be perfect for ebay and which has been getting pretty good traffic. I was monetizing it using Adsense, I realize now that was a mistake.
I worked a lot these past few days. I transformed the website into a wordpress blog, setup a lot of 301 redirects, and now I was anxious to get into the ebay affiliate program and get BANS, when this happened.
I’m shit out of luck today, huh?
And I didn’t even do nasty fool’s day pranks. I was too busy working on my website.

        1. Lance on 01.04.2008 at 16:29 (Reply)

It is the country. Where do you live?
They seems to auto-reject people from certain countries.

          1. Paul on 01.04.2008 at 16:42 (Reply) (Comments won't nest below this level)

            Hey Lance,

My country is irrelevant. If they auto-reject people from certain countries, why bother listing those countries in the first place? It doesn’t make sense.
I was glad when CJ and eBay split, now I’m beginning to regret it.

  15. Lance on 01.04.2008 at 16:08 (Reply)

Im from singapore and im finally in USA ebay :)
When it was in CJ, i wasn’t able to join USA ebay.

    Now it is instant :)
Going to try both BANS and storestacker which was release today!

    1. Steve on 01.04.2008 at 16:36 (Reply)

Make sure you look at the requirements for storestacker before you buy:

      -Zend Optimizer
-known not to work at GoDaddy and Yahoo! Hostings
-basic understanding of Cron Jobs to effectively use most of our software.

  16. Emma on 01.04.2008 at 16:15 (Reply)

I finally got accepted by ebay. Time to get busy creating BANS sites.

    1. Vic on 02.04.2008 at 00:57 (Reply)

Awesome can not wait to start seeing them sites ;)

  17. Frank C on 01.04.2008 at 16:45 (Reply)

Just a reminder that many sites that have the Top commentators plugin reset their list at the first of the month. Since this plugin’s links are usually followed now is a good time to pickup a few good links as long as you’re careful about it.

BTW, anchored links are welcome at OpTempo as long as it isn’t for something ‘bad neighborhood’.

  18. Paul on 01.04.2008 at 17:20 (Reply)

That’s it, I give up. I did a bit of research and I found out eBay has the habit of auto rejecting people from outside USA, especially Eastern European countries.
So I can kiss the eBay affiliate program bye bye.
I still don’t see the point of them listing my country. It is a bit cruel and very unprofessional.
Everyone else, good luck and I hope you make shit loads of money.

    1. YC on 01.04.2008 at 21:20 (Reply)

Paul, don’t give up. Try to email them if possible and pester them about it. Explain to them your business model. I was auto rejected as well when I first tried applying through CJ but pestered them and when they asked me to describe my business model I just told them I had many domains ready specially for BANS and their (ebay) affiliate system and if you can, show them a site that you have already which can show that you are serious about this (it does not have to be a BANS site - just a proper site/blog). I finally got approved after some time trying through this channel. They do not respond fast so I pestered them. A lot of this has to come down to us to show how much we want it (not necessarily to them) so keep trying.

Oh, and be nice in the emails. ;)

      1. Paul on 01.04.2008 at 21:44 (Reply)

Thanks YC, I will do as you suggested.

      2. Paul on 01.04.2008 at 21:53 (Reply)

Haha, this is really funny, there is no possibility to contact them. When I finally found a link to what was supposed to be a contact form for the affiliate program, it redirected me to the homepage. Other people have similar issues as me. I don’t want to say regretful things as I am very angry now, but this is ridiculous.

      3. Simonne on 01.04.2008 at 22:18 (Reply)

That’s exactly what I did today after I got the automatic rejection. I got an answer almost immediately asking me to explain some more about my business. I wrote them back, with detailed explanations on how I am going to set up websites dedicated to their network… things like that. I’m still waiting for their answer, and since it’s not coming, I hope they debate the case and finally let me in.

        1. YC on 01.04.2008 at 23:28 (Reply)

Paul, you might want to contact Simonne as to how he managed to get in touch with the ebay affiliate team, whether it was through an email address or another contact form, as mine was done at the time when they were still with CJ, so not sure if it’s still valid.

  19. Ryan on 01.04.2008 at 22:42 (Reply)

Hey Vic, I found an article submitter that claims that it submits with only one click for only $127. I have not tried it out yet… have you heard of or tried out Article Post Robot?

  20. Vic on 02.04.2008 at 00:59 (Reply)

You folks will see all of you will get accepted we have to be a bit patient remember this is day one for them it has to be a small logistical nightmare LMAO
