This blog is dead. It started out good with the humorous posts but now it is a bit lacking.

No offence, it's just the way it seems to be IMHO

I am enjoying your blog so far Vic, it's a pity you got so messed up with viruses and stuff.

Hopefully you sort your mess out soon any return to the video blogging.

My new sites are refusing to index unless I blog about them from my pr3 blog. Lack of unique content is likely the problem. And lack of Privacy Policy. Most of the usual Quality culprits. I'd like to inject each row of products with a couple lines of relevant content. If only there were programmers looking for work somewhere in the world.

Hi all

How long does it take for a BANS site to generate money? I read a lot of blogs that reported they made money as early as the first month. Is that possible?

Thanks

From my readings, they're getting slapped a little bit after the GoDaddy sale. Also, I think the info + BANS combo raises some flags. A few people have told me they can't get BANS to index, but can get a blog too ?? Either way, Google seems to be treating infos differently right now, but that's a good thing honestly. They're trying to deal with the massive amounts of spam generated by the info sale.
But, I'll wait to hear what Vic says on it. I didn't invest in 100 info domains when the sale came up, so I don't have the experience others are having with them.

Yeah, him going live is random. Its usually b/t the times 11:30pm to 1:30am EST. He just notifies people via his Twitter right before he goes live. He's super busy right now, so he hasn't been live as much.

All BANS sites seem to get a spike of traffic when they first launch, but then as Google adjusts to them, they fall off in ranking. There isn't a whole lot to be done if they're in the sand box. The model Vic teaches with the BANS keeps the chance of sandbox low because we work very low competition niches. If you're in sandbox, either keep getting links for it or just start up a new project and wait it out. Maybe improve the quality of your incoming links, it could help you get out faster.(contextual related high PR links count for a ton more authority than BMD and article runs). lol, if CNN sent you a contextual link off their home page, you'd prob come out of the sandbox =P
My personal method of link building, I avoid any form of automated link for a bit. I build contextual links and really really high PR links. I let them age a tad, then I hit the directories, articles, and BMD. My model is a little different than Vics, but that doesn't mean Vic is wrong. Vic plays bigger numbers than I do, so he's less concerned per site. He pumps out content and links and moves on. He doesn't worry about sandbox because he has 100 other sites to work on and knows that his sites will eventually rank.
