Vic this idea for a contest is brilliant. I mean when I think about what this does for everyone involved and I did, it is win , win for everyone. Contest are usually so one sided they aren’t worth the time to enter them. I have seen challenges to make money through different methods and they almost always include a 29.95 entry “fee”.

One of the reasons that I wanted to do this project was because I want to make sure all you folks learn and master all aspects of what we do when it comes to the basics because it is crucial that we have multiple different streams of income. But the facts are that BANS is just amazing if you understand the basics and work it right

Because of your comment about the discrepancies I also clicked to 5 star it again and it let me, and it shouldn’t have if it had already counted my rating from last night. So maybe the difference is because YouTube had a glitch last night.

Just a word of warning, add a few more modules to your lens. Why? Because when Squidoo goes through some of their revamping they tend to boot lens back to unpublished mode if there aren’t at least 3 modules (not counting the intro and a guestbook).

I’m looking forward to the results. Yeah, working with Vic is GREAT, and is more than enough reason to get involved. Also, the prize is wonderful, but the stats from this will be great.
I mean… a FUCKING 100 test sites, 100 web masters, that can be compared side by side. Not many web masters get to do that. I’m sure in the end we’ll learn a lot about ads, keywords, Google, sandbox, links, etc..
Its a huge research project at its core.
I was talking to my wife about this lastnight and how cool it will be for new people once this whole project is over to go look at 100 sites and what each one did for 4 months and which had success and which did not It will be a huge library of info for all of us to learn.

I was all over your tattoo site looking for an email address for you to answer the Squidoo related question you left in my guestbook. So since I cannot email you directly I am just going to post my reply here and hope you find it.
I hope Vic doesn’t mind but a few other people weren’t sure what I meant by a plexo module either so maybe it will help everyone.

A “plexo” module is one where other Squids can either vote on the items in your list, say you list the best 10 books on marketing - other Squids can visit your lens and vote them higher or lower to change the order, or other times a plexo module can be used to not only rate links or lists but to also add to them.
On my lens the YouTube video plexo allows other Squids to vote the videos higher or lower but I didn’t give anyone the option to add to my list. The plexo where I have the BloggerUnleashed Directory is one that allows other Squids to vote the other lenses (up or down) as well as to add their lens URL to the list. It is the module directly above the guestbook. Just click on “add to this list” and then submit your URL. It is a good networking tool and gets you another link back for the search engines.
Also, you need to add a few more modules to your lens. Squidoo has a tendency to toss lenses back into unpublished mode if there aren’t at least 3 modules in addition to the introduction (and a guestbook doesn’t count from what I have heard).
I hope that helps. If not, just fire off an email and I will try to do better next time. LOL

WOW Folks this has been really cool seeign all the folks that have asked to be part of the contest. As of now at the time of this comment we are down to 31 slots left.

I’m unsure whether to enter so not. First of all I have no idea what I would blog about because I’m not really into the whole blogging thing.
Secondly I’m killing myself trying to get all these bloody BANS sites set up. I’ve set up about 16 today and have been systematically getting links for each of them. By the end of all this my brain will resemble a bowl of mushy peas.

April I had mentioned it already but I will again. One of the reasons for this project right now was to make sure that you folks get the additional basics to make sure you do not box yourself in one income stream I want to make sure you folks can apply the basics to all income streams let it be a full fledge blog, adsense niche or BANS. One this contest is over all of those that participate and follow my steps will never have to ask anybody about keyword research or how to get traffic.
As for what to write about trust me that will be the easiest thing LMAO

As for the time yeah that one I have nothing to say trust me I know how it is but the knowledge you will get out of it and apply at the same time to all your BANS sites will be huge remember the basics are the basics and you must learn an apply this to a blog or a BANS site it is the same

Thanks Gus yeah the feed thing has been crazy I actually did a deep analysis on the feed rising and it has been really interesting I will make a video the stats and info my benefit others on the hard quest of raising a feed count.
