Happy New Year!

by Vic on December 31, 2007

Folks I truly wish you the best New Years Eve ever. Take the time to reflect on 2007 and use all your experiences to focus toward 2008. Court and me will be at the 2008 BlogWorld & New Media Expo and we want to meet you all there. Now in order for you to be there you must have made enough income to make it worth it. So I propose the following as New Years Resolutions.

1. No more excuses.
2. Accept responsibility.
3. Plan your work and work your plan.

No More excuses! Between Court, Grizz and me we have showed you the way to success, in the coming months we will keep giving the knowledge to reach that success. If you fail you will not be able to blame anybody but yourself. I do not want to hear excuses! We all have bad things happen to us in our daily lives what will determine which will overcome better is how well they react to those bad things. In other words we sometimes can not control the bad things but we sure as heck can control how we react and deal with them. The time you spent blaming and using excuses is the same time I rather use to find a solution or the best outcome of the current situation.

Accept responsibility! You are responsible for your decisions but even more important you have to accept responsibility for the outcome of the decisions you make. The next time you are sitting in front of your computer asking yourself and trying to find some one to blame why you are not receiving traffic from Google, ask yourself the following. Did I really have to go to the movies yesterday instead of staying home and getting more anchored links? Should I taken the three day holiday instead of getting more anchored links? As you folks have notice I have kept posting the last few days. Folks I am successful because I make it so. I have a set goal that I will achieve by the end of 2008 and then I will start taking the 4 day holidays but for right now I have accepted the responsibility of achieving success and I act accordingly. You are responsible for your success! Will you stumble along the way? Of course you will what do you expect? Are you so special that the rules of life do not apply to you? But what determines the success you will have is what you did with your failures. Do you really think Thomas Edison nailed the light bulb on his first try? I can guarantee you he failed and failed and failed again but instead of choosing the cowards way out and blaming some one or something he accepted the responsibility of his failure and as such he knew that he did something wrong and now all he had to do was find it and fix it.

Plan your work and work your plan!
Folks if you are waking up in the morning and saying lets see what we will do today you have no fucking chance in hell in having success in life. The common thing that all great successes have in common is that those that achieved that success could see it, tasted it way before they had the success. Friends sit down today if you have not done it and make a list of set goals that you will achieve by the end of 2008, now go over that list if you can not make a work plan that you are totally sure you will achieve that goal you are in some serious shit. Most people set goals but when you ask them how you will accomplish that goal most answer I do not know. Please folks explain to me how can you achieve a goal if you have no fucking idea how? It would be like me setting the goal that by the end of 2008 I will be the owner of China, yes I said own not be the president I will let Hu Jintao run the country I will own China. Now you guys say, so Vic what is your plan to own China by the end of 2008 and I say well mmm I do not know. Folks if you can not see the route to achieving your Goal you have no chance in hell to make it happen. Sit make a list of Goals and make your work plan to achieve such goal, if you can not make the work plan to achieve that goal you are in some serious shit and new year you will be reading my Happy New Year! for 2009 in the same situation you are in.

I chose success, I invite you to do the same.

Happy New Year to you, Vic, and everyone else on Blogging Zoom!

    2008 is gonna be great!

Vic, we finally started to take some noticeable action. We took one of our existing domains and put it up on our existing hosting plan. Turns out that like with Host Gator, our current plan allows unlimited add-on domains as well. This is cool and saves us some money.

Anyhow, we threw up an existing domain that we weren't doing anything with, installed WordPress and Courts Sniping Theme, added a couple of plug-ins and tracking and now need to go look at the affiliate programs we want to throw up on the site and make the content. (We are competing with Vic for the run-on sentence award! :) )

Anyhow, the goal is to get it up for January 1 to say that we finally did it! And then to replicate and replicate and replicate.

The first one is going to be the hardest. Once the system is developed, then it is all gravy from there!

And we have done keyword research for Lizard Wisdom to drive more organic traffic to that blog, now that we have a clue how to do it.

Love being busy, especially with a definite direction.

Vic, thanks for all your help in 2007, and here is to much more in 2008!
