Yep, Justin's posts helped me reconfigure my BANS site better for SEO (what's with the big shakeup over at eBay anyhow?, I didn't personally get "expired", but yikes). He also responded to the questions I asked him about SEO and links. He's really helpful. I like his link building visuals too. They help me because I'm still new to a lot of this. Thanks for pointing me his way before.

I've got a bone to pick with Justin–he's giving away too much good information for free.

Seriously though, for anyone who wants to learn advanced SEO the guy's site is practically a bible.

I'm personally not so comfortable giving away all my secrets and I'd rather stick to teaching absolute basics to complete newbs–I remember I read some really solid stuff on his site and then made a huge post to get his attention: http://www.bestrankingsites.com/search-engine-opt… .

And it worked! Justin's a great guy and he's most def. earned Jedi status.

    Hey Vic,
Great to hear that your having an impact on people out there. I know I havent made to many comments on here but I have been a follower for some time now and started doing the BANS thing as you taught on here. I used to be the type of guy that would create one site and want to watch it or keep checking on it every second of the day like a dumb you know what then I finnaly got smart and just started cranking out sites as fast as I could. I dont have a 100 yet or anything but I have a pretty good amount of them and lucky enough I have several making me over 5 or more dollars a day now. And thats without even doing anything for back links or promotion so its all google. I have bookmarking deamon but havent really seen any backlinks show up from it so I think I am doing something wrong.

My point here is actually to let you know that your affecting more people than you know. I am now making a few hundread more a month that is continuing to grow and trust every dime I can muster up helps. With childcare at 250 a week and everything else I am really looking forward to doing even more online. I noticed you said he was making 100 a day off adsense. I would love if you could point us in a direction for how to build sites for adsense or is that above our league? Anyway thanks for all your free advice and I really hope you dont abandon this blog because a ton of peple are benefiting from it even the ones who keep talking down on it.

    Best of luck,
    Jason

Thanks so much Vic, I don't know what to say. I got a little emotional watching your video.

It's been a long ride, but I've learned a ton from you court and griz. Even though I try to help people out on my blog, I always feel like a newbie myself. I'm constantly trying to learn new tactics.

I do want to thank you for everything you've created here. Between you, court, and griz; the MMO niche has undergone a huge transformation. Although it is still full of dumb asses, the three of you have truly changed people's lives. I know you're stepping down from BU, but I hope people like me and JC help you know your time here was not wasted. Sadly we can't change the whole internet, but you made one hell of a dent. You made some incredible changes for just one man.

Thanks so much for all your kind words, and look forward to what the rest of this year has to hold with all your awesome projects coming up.

I have to say that comments by "MJ" just seemed to rub me the wrong way. First of all, I'm tired of the negative association of the term "newbs" or "noobies", I see this on many sites. I consider myself a newb, meaning a person who is learning a new skill and believe me noobs have it pretty tough online these days (thankyou Vic for having some integrity and showing us beginners the basics AND much more).
Secondly "MJ" doesn't think bloggers should be giving away their "secrets", or the really good information. Well then how does that make him any different then all the other useless MMO blogs? This is disrespectful to his readers who might follow him for guidance. Besides you can find the "basics" on most sites, what newbs need are specific techniques that work in todays internet marketing world. Sorry to sound bitter but like Vic says all the time, the MMO field is filled with jerks and it's really no wonder most of us quit.

    Hey Jak,

I was just kidding around so I'm sorry if it came off in the wrong tone. I didn't mean newbs in a derogatory manner, I meant it as newbies, ie. those who are absolutely new and need to learn the complete basics.

And as I noted I'm very appreciate to Justin for giving out a lot of advanced information–just am I'm extremely appreciate to Griz and Vic for making the MMO sector worth reading…apologies if it came out the wrong way.

Aha! The secret is to have 'zombie' in your URL!!!!

So far as video goes, the main problem I have with it is that many people can't view it at work because it's blocked. I technically can watch them at work since I work in IT and have admin rights on the network but if I did it too much I'd get in trouble. Another consideration with video is that some ISP's in the US, particularly small phone company DSL ones, are starting to drastically throttle bandwidth and video downloads/uploads can eat up a lot of this.

Speaking of pre-owned domains, I've spent over $1000 on them in the past month so I've been busy trying to get at least one a day up and running.

I hate Vic for showing us Freshdrop. I almost started a F.A. for those addicted to that site but could not find the perfect domain on their site. ;)

Frank, I stop buying pre-owned for now. This way, I can better use those in my domain queue. But my addiction force me to buy one yesterday(10 years old). Aarrg!!
