It was great to see you today; glad to see you’re healing, albeit slowly.

Please, don’t let the negative elements get you down. You’ve created a real community here, people who respect you, your outlook, and the way you do business. You’ve been open and honest about what works for you and what doesn’t, and lots of us have started to see success as a result of the guidance you’ve given us.

So, some people have been negative about you and your ideas? Others have acted like butt heads? Forget them … they’re not worth the psychic energy.

Whether or not you can find a way to keep this community going in a way that nourishes both us AND you, I for one am already grateful for what I’ve learned, and what you’ve shared. You’re one of the good guys.

I can pretty much deal with the shit talking but it is costing me money. Plus it is funny how they use my teaching to act like they are teaching something from there bag of tricks and right behind it they push a 97 dollar ebook or shit software like microniche finder which is a toy for noobs.

I sure hope he doesnt shut this site down its a goldmine. i’m not making what he is making on BANS but i am up 5 hundred bucks on organic. what a bunch of crap these hypocrites are, blame vic for what. for helping, for actually lifting a finger to help.

most people want my email and credit card before they help, not vic!!! Heck, i didnt even see that scuttle tip coming. But it is priceless. thats what i am thankfull for, all the stuff vic has on his plate on top of his health, he takes the time to teach what no one else would.

And yes you do have to figure things out, that how you learn. i had a lot of issues with BANS, but now i’m fine because i figured it out. vic has put so much info on this site he doesn’t have to write anything else, please just leave it up or switch it to a password site,LMAO!!!

To all you haters, just because vic showed us how to make money online i hope i find your sites so i can out rank you straight off first page, thats what vic showed us how to do.
If you want first page then….. Well if you dont know buy now do what vics says and figure it out!!! sorry for the long post, take care of your health vic, your family needs you!!

Thank you for such kind words and validation. I will be looking at what exactly to do with this site in the next coming weeks. I always looked at it as a great resource for th noob not to get scammed and learn how the “MM” niche is an how 90% plus of MMO bloggers do not make a fucking dime and act like they are makin tons of money with shit ebooks like Joel Comm ;)

Hi vic, I’m a silent viewer for the last six months and did not know what blogging and BANS was all about till I stumbled upon your site. I have learned a great deal and have 31 BANS stores up and going with out much profit yet.But I keep working at it and am having a lot fun at it. I look forward to your new posts. I hope you do not shut it down but your health and family are much more important than the site. I will truly miss you and your site.Focus in your health and visualize your self becoming very healthy and happy. Thanks for all the information you have provided.

Hey Vic, this is sad. You’re one of the people that I totally trust on the internet. Me and my friend stumbled upon your blog and applied what you teach. You helped us made money in 2 months than other make money online bloggers did in 2 years!

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 16:19 (Reply)

It brings a grin to my face to know I have contributed in some way to your learning and hopefully success.

    Hey Vic,

What at all boils down to is you gotta do what you gotta do. If BU don’t make you any money, what the fuck, you have to look after your business first. BU was good idea and it panned out the way it did. There is only so much knowledge you can give people and then it comes to a logical end.

Don’t be too dramatic and shut the domain - that’s a solid PR4 with a shitload of authority to use as a nice linking site ;-)

I learned a lot of shit from you and I’m very grateful for what you did here cause I’m seeing results and making money from doing a lot of what you said. Ok I didn’t do it all mainly because most of my time is taken up doing writing gigs. But what I’m doing works and that’s all it needs to do, right!

Take care buddy and lay off that fucking Coke - it’ll kill you quicker than the smokes!

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 16:21 (Reply)

LMAO!!! Terry man I quit smoking how can you even dare to think I could lay of my Coca Cola also are you mad!!! You know it is a question of priorities and health, family and our financial matters need to come first. I hope folks understand.

  5. KushMoney on 07.08.2008 at 15:53 (Reply)

WOW! Don’t close down the site. Just leave it up.

    Vic,

Dude, glad to see you back around! Take care of your health and family first! Trust me, that’s what counts.

I hope you keep this site up, even if you only post once every 3 or 4 months, that would be fine with me. Hell, turn off the comments if that helps!

You have taught me so much and helped me out greatly. I can relate to the nasty people out there and the time it takes to do this type of blog. I have slacked on my blogs due to needing to get caught up on my money sites.

Thanks for all the help with BANS also, I have seen my income more than double each month due to what you have taught with them. You can’t control what other people think, do or write about.

I hope you stick around, take care of yourself and family, and let me know if you need anything!

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 16:24 (Reply)

Thanks Dear Friend!!! I think if I was not s emotional as I am I could deal with the shit a bit better But the hypocrisy ad the fucking scammers just make my blood boil.

I have always said I looked forward to the day I left this blog behind it just came a bit sooner.

    Vic,

The cool thing is that you’re only an email away.

I know first-hand exactly what you mean about nearly everything you mentioned in the video. Been there done that. Sometimes you can’t give away information for free no matter how hard you try. Even when you can, it isn’t appreciated.

You and your family comes first. Always. Your loyal readers will always be here when and if you do write anything new. In the meantime, try to ignore the losers.

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 16:26 (Reply)

Dear RT to my friends I will always be an email away ;)

    Vic,

The video wasn’t working but, from what I’m reading in the comments it ain’t good. Amazing what you’ve done with this site in a few months. That’s because you know your shit and don’t mind helping those of us trying to learn.
    In case I forgot;
    Thanks
    Rick

    Hey Vic,

Glad to see you up and about. You have done a great job with this site and I have learned a lot and I was looking forward to learning more.

I do however understand how you feel. I know another guy who has been offering free internet coaching to people and he says all he hears if people bitching to him and wanting him to build their business for them for free.

People are lazy whiners and they are always looking a gifted horse in the mouth. I don’t know how you deal with it because there are people who generally enough your help.

All I can say is thanks for your advice and I wish you luck with you health and hope you live and long life to enjoy your family.

    Thanks
    Al

Hey Vic, I have been lurking around for a few months, and I just want to say thank you for everything you’ve done.

I just hope that if you do decide to fold up the Blogger Unleashed tent, it won’t be because of those who were jealous of your success. Because of you I made $200 off BANS from just 3 sites.

Once I get my money I will make more. I appreciate you big guy. Certain things I still don’t get yet, but at least I know its possible to be successful online. So thanks again man. Just make sure you go out on your own terms.

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 16:31 (Reply)

Thank You!!! And I am trying my best to do it on my own terms.

  11. Nigel Nix on 07.08.2008 at 16:56 (Reply)

    Hi Vic,

I too have learned shit loads since finding your site and made $200 last month (my first month) on Ebay. My adsense is 10 times bigger than the last month due to your instruction and the tools you advised. Screw the begrudgers and their negativity and from what I have seen there are way more positive folks here that have had their lives changed by visiting blogger unleashed.
Unfortunately there will always be negative stupid bone pickers and no matter what you do it will be wrong.
If you choose to close down I just want to say THANK YOU and good luck with whatever you do!

    Nigel.

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 17:49 (Reply)

Nigel thank you for understanding. It prides me to know I have made a positive change in your life. I wish you only the best and success ;)

  12. Joe on 07.08.2008 at 17:01 (Reply)

Vic. The way you out people like Caroline Middlebrook, John Chow, “Alan Johnson” and the rest hits me like a ton of bricks because when I first tried to make money online, I read the R.Jerk and other make money ebooks and fell for that “fake it till you make it” bull shit. I even once told people I was “making $300/day” and here’s how you can do it too! I convinced myself that was the only way to make money online because that’s all I saw, people turning around and screwing the next sucker.

Longer story shorter my conscious got the better of me and I quit all the make money crap because I started to realize that people really are getting hurt financially with this stuff and it’s not just a game. That is NOT the way I was raised and I am so ashamed of it. I tried to go back and get all my “make money” and other nonsense articles taken down from article sites because most of it was just garbage with a sales pitch. I’m extremely embarrassed of what my name is probably still associated with online.

Anyway, I had to comment because your blog is like a shimmer of hope for me. I’ve been subscribed to the “big 3″ blogs for a long time now and I’ve probably learned more actual working strategies from you, Court, and Griz’s site in just the last two weeks or so than all of them combined. My mind is probably still full of crap I’ve picked up elsewhere and need more deprogramming.

You have a no BS attitude and while people think you’re an asshole for nailing these fake gurus, you’re really trying to help people by keeping them away from the scammers who service with a smile.

I’m working on a single BANS site now and I’m going to work it and build others at my own pace. I’m having a hard time pulling the trigger on 100 domains because I’m still so clueless and it seems so overwhelming to me. I realize I might even just be one of those people who will never get it, but I have to try.

I guess I don’t know what the hell I’m trying to say here except thanks. You were selfless for sharing this stuff and sharing your sites and I don’t blame you at all for needing to stop giving it out. You have to take care of your health and your family so thanks for steering me in the right direction and for helping me get off my misinformation addiction.

    God Bless and best health.

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 17:52 (Reply)

Remember the 100 domains was when it was at a dollar and Google was not beign so hard on .info domains. OS now the important thing is to stick to pre-owned domains even if it one a month and gradually build up. The faster you build and promote the faster you will make money. Also please make sure you do not box yourself in one type of site and affiliate look at me I lost have of my Ebay income from the switch from CJ to EBay imagine if all my eggs where on Ebay ;) So keep making other types of sites remember the basics are exactly the same. Buy pre-owned domain make site with affiliate go get links ;)

Been watching a lot of “I Dream of Jeannie” during your convalescence, eh?

Sorry to hear about your illness — take care of yourself b/c your kid needs you.

I, for one, understand why you want to stop BU. That doesn’t mean I won’t miss it …

Anyhow, have fun in Vegas. I won’t be there — I have a day-job programming.

Whatever happens with BU, I’ll keep an eye for you — I’ve learned a lot even if I haven’t applied it all (day-job). Thanks.

I agree with what everyone has already said…

I have learned as much (or more) from you in the short time this blog has been around than I did from all other resources in the 5 years that I have been an internet marketer.

I am very grateful for everything you have done here!

Don’t shut it down! There are far too many things you could do with this blog. You have a PR4, a huge following, high rankings, tons of authority and a lot of people that would be sad to see you go.

You don’t need us to tell you what a gem you have built here!

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 18:01 (Reply)

Thanks Trent and trust me in the next few weeks I will do some serious soul searching to decide exactly what to do with it ;)

lol at the John Chow comment. I watched that show. Hey, its what he does best… Getting slapped.

But yeah, we are gonna be sad if you really decide to close the site. Just want to tell you that you are really the shit.

    Hi Vic,

Great to see you again. I missed your broadcast last night, so thanks for recording it.

We’ve all been watching you burn the candle at both ends, so it’s no wonder you’re feeling burned out now. I can understand that when a project gets to be a financial and psychic drain you have to move on.

However, know that you’ve helped a lot of people. I do hope the site will still be here for awhile, because I refer to various videos frequently.

But, you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do. Wishing you the best.

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 18:03 (Reply)

Shirley it seems many people do come back and refresh so I can indeed see the need to keep it as a reference site.

  17. Diane on 07.08.2008 at 17:15 (Reply)

Vic I cannot say thank you enough for all you have given to us. Because I spent a lot of time reading the scammers, I spotted your generosity and genuineness right off. I started making money right away by following what you have taught here at BU. I hope I have graduated from fucking noob to just plain noob by now, and I thank you and everyone for their patience with my questions.

I wish I could join you in Vegas becasue I would like to personally thank you for all your time and energy and caring for us. Have a great time and hope you learn lots more about everything and get all jazzed up and excited about new things that will make you even more money online!

I second the motion for a password protected site if that suits you and I also would be glad to pay a MONTHLY RECURRING FEE for continued information, complete with swearing and yelling, please!

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 20:00 (Reply)

LMAO!!! I am looking at what options I just want to finish some things first and we will see. No doubt if I made a membership site I would not be the foul mouth persona that I am here.

  18. Todd Morris on 07.08.2008 at 17:19 (Reply)

    Hey Vic,

Add me to the list of people who appreciate you. Thanks to reading your site, I learned about building BANS stores (which have put a couple hundred addtional dollars in my pocket for the past few months, with very little effort), and I started a local niche blog which allowed me to connect with some pretty cool people here in my area.

I was only able to catch the first few minutes of your video before I had to leave for work this morning … but I got the gist of it.

I think one of the very first posts I read of yours here on BU contained a statement something along the lines of “Most bloggers are self-centered bitches”.

    Unfortunately, that’s human nature.

You’ve already “given back” way more than you’ve taken (at least for those who’ve been paying attention).

All the good that you have coming your way in the future will be well deserved.

I’m happy to have had the chance to meet you. Hope to run into you again from time to time.

    Todd

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 20:01 (Reply)

I sure will Todd. Looking to take a vacation in your neck of the woods next year so maybe a beer in the works ;)

  19. Steve McGrath on 07.08.2008 at 17:51 (Reply)

Glad to hear from you and that your are slowly getting better.

I understand why you want to stop BU. Even if you just post to announce a new product or service like you mentioned in the video, I will be glad. You did more of those in the recent weeks anyway.

You gave me the opportunity to announced
AuctionSiteWriter on you site first. Recently, I even used your eCover Unleashed(great!) to make one for ASW and for another project I’m working on. Btw, ASW support phpBay API and the eBay widget now so it takes less than 1 minute(just ftp the site).

If you need to, close the forum and comments but do keep the site open. You will always have people critiquing you so don’t let that put you down. The private forum/video angle is also good too and I would like it.

Diane: “MONTHLY RECURRING FEE” lol Vic must be LHAO that one.

I tried the Youtube trick a few days ago but my site is still not indexed. I will have to wait and be more patient. The site is a .info.

Good soul searching but you have people behind you!

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 20:10 (Reply)

Steve if it still not indexing email me so I can look at it and see how it differs in my setup. It took me 24 - 48 hours to get them indexed so there has to be something different.

One of the things that pisst me off so much about the trackbacks are exmple.

I promoted products from you, Thom and Dave and not one product did I make a cent. I believed they where great tools and as such I recommended them.

Not once from you Thom are Dave did I ask for a cent or any favors I was honored to have you guys launch products here.

It cost me almost $500 to acquire eCovers Unleashed and I decided to give it a way reduced rice to BU readers because th domain is new nd I was not spending time on it till it aged so I might as well help you guys out y buying a product that normally sells for $47 at $17 and it turns out I was pushing shit products because of that. So now fuck it I have about 5 other products that I was doing the same thing now everybody here can pay full pop when they find the site searching Google.

      “MONTHLY RECURRING FEE”

This is an option it would sure eliminate the lurkers and the fake names. But of course it would have to be at a way reduced price but this way they would have to give their real names in billing ;)

  20. Joe Rodriguez on 07.08.2008 at 18:53 (Reply)

    Vic,

First of all, I appreciate you and I appreciate the information you have provided here for FREE! You introduced me to stuff that has set me on a path to making money online and its absolutely starting to pay off.

I can’t thank you enough for all the information on this site and I really hope you DON’T decide to bring it down because I’m still working my way through the posts and videos, in some cases multiple times just to make sure I understand everything.

Second of all, please don’t ever let the haters get you down man. The minute somebody becomes successful in any arena, there are hyenas that come out from every bush trying to bring the successful person down. Those people are insignificant when compared with the many, many more people who have benefited greatly from what you have accomplished here. Everything you’ve taught has been dead on, despite contradictory information around the internet.

FUCK THEM! We still need you!

By the way, when in Vegas, if you rent a car, you will want to use the valet parking at every hotel. It’s free, you only have to tip the drivers a buck or two, that’s what my ex-wife and I did when we went there. The Monorail train that runs behind the hotels is cool too. Traffic on the strip can be a killer though so you will want try the side and back roads that run parallel to the strip. Check out http://www.vegas.com/transportation/ they have a lot of great information for your first Vegas visit. And no it’s not my site.

I hope you are feeling better dude, you are in my prayers.

Que dios te bendiga y que te acompañe a ti y tu familia.

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 20:14 (Reply)

      Thanks Joe!!!

No doubt as you said when you have success things come attached. But in this case their really is not a “success” attached to it as I was not looking to build an “A-list” blog or the likes and instead it is costing me money so time to move on.

I look forward to the Vegas trip so much especially in meeting some of you and thank you so much for the advice as I am a total Vegas noob as I just wish my wife was going with me.

Haven’t been able to view the video its blocked here at work. But I for one have learned tons from your site and videos. Making over $500 month now on BANS alone thanks to the info from this site.

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 20:16 (Reply)

I thank you for your kind words. As I have said important you do not stay locked in one model remember it sucks when something happens and your income comes down so keep expanding your portfolio ;)

  22. Kevin on 07.08.2008 at 20:15 (Reply)

Hello Vic. I have lurked on both this site and in your ustream chats for several months now. This is my first contribution to either. I just wanted to let you know that for all the people that you know you’ve helped, there are many more out here such as myself who have just never spoken up.

I had been trying to make money on the internet for over two years with nothing to show for it but wasted time and a rather large bill for useless ebooks. As soon as I found your site, I knew it was different. Phrases like, “Fuck you, Caroline Middlebrook” were my first clue. Lol.

Thanks to you telling everyone how things really work, I now have a fledgling BANS network up, am making a few hundred a month, and am working on expansion when I can. I know several hundred dollars a month may not seem like much, but I feel like it’s the beginnings of a business that will grow to support myself and my family in time.

In short - Thank you so much for changing my life.

I’ll be sad to see Blogger Unleashed go, but understand your decision. Your health, your business, your family, and a stress free existence always have to come first.

I would also like to put in another vote for some other version of the site, if you feel up to it, though. Maybe password protected. Maybe with a recurring fee. Hell, maybe with photo IDs required and a little contract to sign - “I am not John Chow. I have no Make Money sites. I would sooner pimp-smack my own momma than report one of Vic’s sites.”

Whatever your decision is, thank you again for all that you’ve already done. I really appreciate the information you have taken the time to share with everyone. My only regret is that I can’t be in Vegas to tell you that personally. I wish you and your family nothing but the best.

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 20:18 (Reply)

Kevin it seems the recurring billing theme keeps popping up. I like the idea just have to figure out how to do it. And man if you only new I loved the idea of a photo id but I guess it goes to my paranoid nature. LMAO!!! Maybe something that is only by invitation make it a real tight community.

    Vic,
I echo all the other comments here. You have to do what is best for you, your health and your family, but I’m another who will miss you. But I understand why you feel this way.

You made waves, big ones. You called people out and they took their revenge any way they thought they could and others saw an opportunity to get one over on you. People are just like that. Most of them can be mean.

But in calling people out and giving damn good advice, you helped an awful lot of people, me included. I came over to mainstream and read the John Chows and all the other crap and although I recognised BS, it was hard to find an alternative, until I found your blog (funnily enough, in a post knocking it. I thought “well the guy who wrote this post talks BS, so if he’s saying this ‘Blogger Unleashed guy’ doesn’t know what he’s talking about, then he could be talking BS about this too”).

Through reading Blogger Unleashed, I found links to other guys like Griz, Court, Frank, RT and Terry and I’m grateful for that too.

Yes, people want something for nothing, many of them haven’t a bean left to spend on anything after being scammed by the fake MMO’ers. And the nice ones appreciate the advice, but they don’t always show it.

But I think you have to remember that a lot of people have been scammed so often in the past, that when they find a genuine guy, they are sceptical of him too. It’s human survival instinct kicking in (even if it is a little late).

Add to that the fact that many people aren’t as smart as you at making a living this way, and many of them will fail whatever you tell them. They just don’t get it (or are afraid to put the full works into practice). So they fail, and then they hit out - at the person who tried to help them. Human nature at its worst.

As I said at the start, you go do whatever you feel you have to do.
But how about stepping back a little first? Enjoy your time in Vegas. Try your best to get healthy and spend more quality time with your family too. When we are ill we can feel so down and damn frustrated we can hate the world.

Try to get healthy first before you make your decision about Blogger Unleashed.
You never know, you just might change your mind.

But either way THANKS for all you’ve done.

    Take care

    zania

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 20:27 (Reply)

Zania you have made so any great points. I have no doubt that being scammed over and over has to have tons of people just a total skeptic. I think my biggest problem is that losing sites issue. Sometimes In order for me to prove a point I actually have to show. I felt I need it to show how actual link building and keyword selection works in the real world I decided against my better judgment to show my xbox site. A brand new site on a competitive nich and in weeks I had it position one in Google and Live and the thanks I got was my site that is totally legit beign reported at least on the paintball site indeed it was keyword stuff but this site is as clean as it can be now I find myself waiting for a visual inspection on a site that was avg 90 dollars a day so me showing you guys cost me 2700 a month is that stupid or what?

So I guess what really drives me the most right now is the inability to know who I have in front of me. Tons of peeps here say they are so and so but they are not.

      But wow man great points.

    Hey Vic,

I have been an occasional visitor to your site the last few months, but I appreciate all the stuff you have put out there for the world to see; I never really saw anything on BU that I would consider ’self-serving’ but I guess that just shows me to be naive not seeing that there are bitter cynical people out there just mad at you for being successful and for wanting to share your knowledge.

    REGARDING VEGAS:

The Sahara was a good choice; I am on their mailing list because I enjoyed my stay there on my last visit. Clean enough hotel for the price, one of the last old style hotels ON THE STRIP and not on Freemont (way too far away), not too many screaming kids there compared to the Circus Circus. Also, the monorail to the convention center is right behind the hotel and very convenient for you.

BTW, join the casino club there for free for the food and beverage perks - token gambling is all you probably need to do.
Also, if you ask for akingsized bed and non-smoking, you might get put in the nicer tower buildings of the hotel.

Thanks again for everything Vic and GL in Vegas.

(make my own scuttles? Damn! lol)

    1. Vic on 08.08.2008 at 20:30 (Reply)

Stephen the thing is that there is nothi9ng here self serving even somethings that might look at it if you look at the over all always get fucked, always!!

Thank you so much for the Vegas advice. I must admit I am quite exited but a bit sad that my lvely wife can not go with me.

Bess you and wish you much success!!

Well I am looking at your feedburner stats. Up over 3000. Now I would be willing to pay $3.00-$5.00 a month to keep learning, It might be well worth your time if you can convert 2000 of us to a monthly subscription for your site. Might be a good way to make an additional $6000 to $10,000 a month?

That’s my 2 cents, thanks for letting me learn from you. I’m just starting to make some small money, but I will keep watching you for as long as I can.

Sorry I missed you live but I’m back on my ’school day’ schedule for my son now so I can’t stay up as late.

I think you’ve put together a good resource here and with your videos and it would be a shame to lose it. I think you took on too much with the contest and all. Just take it easy from now on, just provide a few nuggets of wisdom occasionally and don’t get in a position where you feel so many people are depending on you. Just point the way and don’t stress over whether or not people are figuring it out or what some jackass is braying about you.

    Vic,

People like me are in the silent majority. We read your blog, appreciate what you’ve done but we don’t really take the time to leave a comment until something like this happens.

I think you’ll find there’s a lot of us that know you’re legit and appreciate what you do.

Man, do what you gotta do cause the important thing is that your kids get to eat.

    1. Vic on 09.08.2008 at 00:39 (Reply)

MJ thank you I know!! I have received hundreds of emails the past 2 days and most have not commented here because they rather stay in the shadows and I think that is great. I will really look at what is best and try to do that.

  31. Steven on 08.08.2008 at 01:50 (Reply)

I’ve been following this blog for a couple of months now, and thanks to your instructions, I’m now able to make money online.

In fact, I made $60 on the first day of this month alone from BANS. I know that’s not exactly a lot of money, but hey I’m just getting started.

I know for sure that I would still be making fuck all if I was still attempting to learn the game from the BANS forum, and the “niche store builder” series like I was doing before.

You are making a difference in peoples lives with this blog Vic, so I hope you keep it going man. But not at the expense of your health (mental or physical).

    Take care Vic.

    1. Vic on 09.08.2008 at 00:46 (Reply)

Trust me $60 you are way ahead of the curve most people never even make that in there short IM career. Look at all the new MMO bloggers that show up everyday trying to be the next Chow most are starving and all they have for expenses is a 6 dollar shared Hosting plan.

I am honored that in some way I influenced you in the direction of making money.

  32. Neil on 08.08.2008 at 02:00 (Reply)

I came across BU about 2 months ago after reading a hub page about Vic, Griz and Court. Before then I lost most of my faith in marketing and stayed away from internet marketing altogether, because I have been scammed on shitty ass marketing schemes before.

All I can say Vic is the stuff I learned from this blog has been life changing and is worth paying for if you charged. It gave me a reason to want to get back into marketing again. I now have over 100 BANS sites up and have made well over my $97 back.

The people that are spamming your site with negative shit are just weak pussies that can’t find anything better to do than cry and complain cuz they can’t follow a simple recipe for success.

I hope you don’t decide to kill this blog, but if you do I understand cuz family and health gotta come first. Just keep in mind that what you have done here has been a gem for so many and I would hate to see that all go to shit over a few ungrateful turds.

Thanks for the truth, cuz its hard to find these days.

    1. Vic on 09.08.2008 at 00:48 (Reply)

Neil you are so right and today has been crazy reading you guys comments and how cuz a few many would be caught in the crossfire. I really have to look at this and figure out a solution and trust me I will figure something out.

  33. Costa on 08.08.2008 at 02:03 (Reply)

    Hi Vic,

It’s been a long time mate. Too long.

I understand your feelings about shutting down this bog. Not that my blog is big enough to attract such negatives backlash, but in real life. Sometimes when we genuinely go out to help others there will be some who says that we are doing it for some hidden agenda and the feeling is not good. It comes to a state that we feel we might as well stop doing any good.

So shut it down if you must, but if ever you really decide that you want to start something for “legits” like you said, I would like to be part of the gang.

However, I do sincerely hope we can still keep in touch via email. Talking of which, I have to thank you for the “gifts” you sent me. Just in case you missed my thank you note via your Inbox. LOL.

    Take care, my friend.

    1. Vic on 09.08.2008 at 00:50 (Reply)

Costa me and my family always have you in our hearts. You ae one of the reasons this blog exist. God knows you have had some tough times and it was an honor to send you those small things I hope they in some way helped you out in the building process.

And as RT said always remember I am an email away.

Internet marketing has a honkin’ steep learning curve.

The first phase is simply learning the terminology.

Then comes separating the hype from the substance. Who speaks the truth?

Somewhere along there (for the thinking soul) comes figuring out a monetization model.

Thank goodness I found this extended community of folks who are solid of truth, honesty, and fact.

You are the Prince, Vic, and I’m your biggest fan. :-)

    Gracias!

    1. Vic on 09.08.2008 at 00:52 (Reply)

Thank you! IM is a very tough cookie to eat in the beginning and as you said steep cuve the awesome thing is one day the whole puzzle just falls into place and once that happens it is pure magic. I have tried my best to offer parts of the puzzle to help people build it as mos MMO shit is a brand new puzzle wih missing parts.

    Hi Vic,

Sorry about your health issues. I hope you get better soon!

I’m also sorry you feel so bad about BU. That’s what happens when you get famous, you start getting people putting you down. I’m lucky I am not famous enough yet for that to happen to me, LOL.

You are right that people don’t appreciate free information. You should package up some of your videos and info and sell them as a course.

Good luck with all your projects. Do what you have to do, although I would be sorry if you took BU down.

You have already helped me immensely and taught me a lot. Thanks for all you have done for me and others. :)

    Vic,

Sounds like a lot of punks out there, but I got to tell you that because of this website I am actually making money online now. I am getting better at BANS each week, and go back and watch old videos to catch stuff I missed before. I had one site make over $150 in a month, so I am excited where I am headed, but I would not have a clue had it not been for bloggerunleashed, so I hope you don’t kill the site, but at the same time I would understand if you did. As far as I am concerned you are the man! The best training I ever got was the late night on the live channel when you would go into detail on stuff. If you ever need anything you got my email, and I will pay it forward to you!

    Thanks for everything
    Chad

Chad Thanks!! I so much agree the chat sessions are where I felt we mad the most progress I think to do something with you guys that has to be a huge part because it is so much easier when you guys as me a question and I can explain the why and how of things. Plus to be honest it was so much fun.

  38. Markk on 08.08.2008 at 06:42 (Reply)

Hi Vic, I can understand what you’re going through. Whatever it is, family comes first and your health. To hell with the rest, especially the crappies. Many bloggers have learned from you and some doing quite well. Others are a bit slow or still don’t have a clue about the whole concept. But you have given more than people had bargained for…and, I think, that’s enough.

High time for you to focus on your new projects. Like you said, perhaps BU has reached a “saturation point” whereby you might want to leave it to dry in the sun (just like one of my blogs) BUT PLEASE DON’T CLOSE IT DOWN. If you think of the posts that are lying in the archives, they are still a good source of information and learning for those who visit BU, that is if they know how to dig deep to read up some of the gems buried inside.

On the other hand, you might want to ponder on the prospect of selling this blog and I’m sure there’ll be some takers. It’s got a good name and a PR4. I notice you have not mentioned anything about selling nor did those who had made comments (maybe I’m wrong).

Anyway, I’d like to say you have done a good job teaching people, including me, a laid-back blogger by choice. Much appreciated. But maybe it’s time to move on. The Internet or the blogosphere is constantly changing but most people don’t perceive it that way which is a pity. Hey man, times they are a-changing!

    Best regards.

    1. Vic on 09.08.2008 at 01:00 (Reply)

Markk this blog has over 100k uniques a month man there is no way I could sell it. It ranks for tons of MMO keyword terms. In the hands of the traditional MMO niche shit it would become a haven for selling shit ebooks and scamming people. I have been offered 50k for it but there is no way I would do thta. I rather shut it down and once all the post got de-inxed sell the domain for a few hundred dollars. I will try to figure something out trust me I will.

  39. Tarif on 08.08.2008 at 13:52 (Reply)

Not only have you taught us about blogging and gaming adsense and google and BANS and… you have also taught us about the importance of family and getting your priorities straight. I appreciate you taking the time out of your schedule to provide this service, if you want to bring it down, go right ahead. You’ve been in this long enough to know what is wasting your time.

    Thank you

    Hi Vic,

Like many commenters on this post, I’m also a member of the silent majority, and I’ve only posted a couploe of times on Court’s and Grizz’s sites.

I refer to you, Grizz, Court, and Justin as the 3 musketeers (as there were actually 4 of them). Each one of you has his own personality and formula for what works, but as soon as you read it you realize that those guys know what they’re talking about and are actually successful!

I have turned my flagship blog around thanks to you and have started a couple niche blogs that are on their way to making serious money (I found a real gem but after it started getting 200 uniques a day within 2-3 weeks, it got sandboxed!).

Whatever you have to do to stay healthy must come first. Besides that, no matter what you do, PLEASE don’t bring the site down. That would be a shame. Your posts are a reference tool for me, since us noobs have to be repeated the same shit over and over before we eventually get it.

Just wanted to thank you for the great information you put out there. We just have to take it and figure out how to go to the next level. And also, let me know if you’re turning this into a paid and/or password site. It’s only gonna make what you teach more powerful because (and I think many others have already told you), I’m pretty sure your website is closely watched, and I’m not referring to other MMO haters if you get my drift (insert big brother reference of your choice here)

    1. Vic on 09.08.2008 at 01:07 (Reply)

Thank you! Please try your best to move on to pre-owned domains this way you eliminate the sandbox out of the puzzle and god knows it sure helps.

Whatever happens, offline stuff is more important than the whole online thing. If you need to take a break for your health, so be it - it is the right thing to do.

Just wanted to say you helped me out a while ago - haven’t been around here over the last few months, as I’ve been acting on the things I’ve wanted to (and reaping the rewards for it…).

Good luck with whatever you decide to do, buddy :)

    1. Vic on 09.08.2008 at 01:09 (Reply)

Thanks Jason I was at TUK a week ago catching up. I am glad you where not around it means you where deep in your projects and that is what gets us paid so we need to do to make sure we get paid ;)

  43. Justin Briggs on 08.08.2008 at 18:32 (Reply)

I made a comment about this type of reaction over at Court’s blog yesterday. I noticed that your blog , Griz’s and Court’s all kind of dried up a little. Initially, my reaction was “wtf”, just because these three blogs are the ones that I actually follow.

Then I kicked myself in the ass and reminded myself you’re an internet marketer. You HAVE to do what gets you paid the most. The truth is, BU isn’t going to take a nose dive just because you don’t post on it. There is no logical reason for you to put hours into a site that cannot justify its time. Me wanting you to post is simply a selfish reaction.

But don’t let fucking noobs get you down. People who don’t get it, as just thick…

I do this shit part time as a college student and I’m making $1,500+ or so a month (and its constantly increasing). My first keyword sniping site made me $800 last month. My first BANS made me $130 last month. That’s just two sites I launched a few months ago. Once my current network ages, money should take off. Right now I’m putting a lot of time into SEO Zombie, which doesn’t make me shit, but it has a long term goal. I’d like to do some SEO consulting when I get done with college (in addition to this MMO stuff). I figure I’ll be golden in terms of rankings by the time I finish my degree.

I will agree about the fact that some people just cannot make it in this business. I started learning this stuff in January and I see people who have been trying to figure this shit out for over a year almost two years. The same people always comment on the same blogs over and over. And nobody seems to catch on. I noticed people on my site still ask the same questions everyone has answered over and over.
It takes about a month of reading, a month of practicing, and a month getting set up. In about 3 months from start, you should be making $$.

Do what you got to do Vic. I’m loving my little sidebar link, so don’t shut down =P

We need to get a nice common forum going or something, with only the non noob ass people. Cause I personally think having a network of friends is golden (least in highly competitive niches)

    1. Vic on 09.08.2008 at 01:10 (Reply)

LMAO!! Shit buddy you have said it all. Justin no doubt we need to figure a way to set something really private up where brainstorming and support to each other would be awesome.

The internet is always changing and sometimes Big G will change things and we’ll have to change strategies. I’ve been following what you Grizz and Court have shown me and I think of you 3 as the “honest” players in the MMO niche. Please stay on my friend. We have missed you and want you to keep it up.

    1. Vic on 09.08.2008 at 01:15 (Reply)

I think what really seems attractive to me about this option besides getting paid of course is that people could not hie behind fake names and personas and I like that a lot ;) Just need to figure how to do something like this that i would feel ok with ;)

    Vic,

Wish you the best with your health!

I wanted to thank you for providing the valuable information that has helped me start my online business. I actually started over 100 BANS sites within a couple of weeks of seeing your vids here at Blogger Unleashed. Stumbling upon this site was a pivotal turning point for me. Up until then I was completely overloaded with information that I couldn’t even implement. Your free information is responsible for me getting started - and that my friend is the reason I will be forever grateful to you! I would suspect that there really are people - including myself - that appreciate what you have done for here at Blogger Unleashed. I will be extremely sorry to see you go!

    Vic,

If it makes no sense for you, then just stop it. Your health and family are much more important than everything else. All I have to say is that I learned a lot from you, not only about technical stuff, but also about the determination and focus needed in order to run this kind of business.

So, this is a big THANK YOU from me. Have a good time in Vegas - I’m too far away to join you.

Thanks Vic for sharing your knowledge. Between you, grizz & court there comes a time for personal responsibility. The three of you have taught people how to fish. It time for us to do the fishing, figure out better bait and better places to fish.

I need to work on my own sites rather than following you guys. Although I don’t want to see your sites shut down it would force me to continue to seek out new ways of doing things. You like to read.. If you get board buy ” blue ocean strategy”.

I thank you for providing me with useful information at your expense. May you be successful on your next venture. Take care.

It must be frustrating to have to say the same things over and over. When I watch comment reactions, I couldn’t believe you have to almost prove yourself that what you are saying works!

And, the constant nagging and razzing can get frustrating from others….

and getting your info ripped, spun, and passed of by others as their stuff can be like a total slap in the face.

Can understand why you want to pull the plug, but in some way, I am hoping there is another way too…Since May, you have become a big foundational piece of my network, and like others have said, meeting up with you has also introduced me to some cool people, Terry, Grizz, Court, Justin, Diane, and the others at BUTV in the chat room.

On top of that, I’ve really been able to build up some sites, and seeing the progress. All of that is due to you and your giving. Every day gets better and better.

I hope that you may consider some kind of private area that we can all get together and keep moving forward…

And, I, like Diane would be glad to pay for your mentorship…but don’t clean up the language! We love it!

Lastly, I will also gladly submit myself to proving that I am in fact, not Jon Chow, Caroling Middlebrook, or Gary Conn!

Although alot of people are hard head, and ask the same questions over and over, one thing Ive learned at my day job in training others is…

repetition enhances recall….and there are those of us that I think are getting it!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, that as far as getting back in shape, one thing you may want to look at is fit for life.

A friend started it and he shed about 30 pounds in 3 months. So it is gradual, and meant for lifestyle change.

It involves eating 5 meals per day, and smaller portions. He says he is always full, and he gives himself one treat day.

He does treadmill in morning for 30-40 minutes
    3 times a week.

He says he is never hungry, and doesn’t feel like he is sacrificing anything.

    Then again, theres always Jazzercise…

    Hey Vic….

    WOW!!!

Listen dude…that post that you did on PPC was for me the ULTIMATE POST.

I trust everything you say and the fact that you are even considering quitting is HEARTBREAKING since PPC is what I wanna work with.

and you recommended a product that I plan to buy.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THAT!!!

Hi Vic, felt like I would be ungrateful if I didnt say something too. So, I just wanna thank you for all the info you have shared with us. Its too bad that a few rotten apples have to ruin it for the rest of us. But, with what you have shared, I have been able to put it to use and the dream of bringing my wife home to raise our son is now a reality. And I too will eventually get to come home :D And for anyone new to this site, listen to what Vic says, and here comes the tricky part, APPLY IT!!!! Knowledge is useless without application and hard work. I have put to work what Vic teaches and am making money. All those other deuchebags out there that “tried” what Vic teaches and gave up too soon are the whiner babies that will make no money ever. They’re, as Vic puts it, looking for the “magic bullet” that doesnt exist. Enough on that subject. Vic, again thank you very much, and plan on seeing you in Vegas in september!!!

    Will

    Hi Vic,

Just want to add my 2 cents by thanking you for your generosity and keeping it real. I along with everyone else have learned to get it done from you.

When you, Griz and Court have all stepped away from your blogs at various times this summer I know for a fact that has been the best thing for me and others who read your blog because it made us get off of our asses and get stuff done.

I joined ebay affiliate program in June and made my 1st $100 month in July. It really is the beginning of big things for me and you are one of only a few folks whose wisdom motivated me to take action by applying the information I’ve learned from you guys.

    God bless you and yours,

    Sunshine

I don’t comment often but just want to say thanks in case I don’t get a chance to later on. Thanks for all your mmo tips…you’re one of the reasons I stopped wasting my time reading JC and co type blogs.

I really hope you keep the site up though cos it’s packed full of important references that I, and many others I’m sure, keep coming back to read and re-read.

Also, best wishes for your health.

    regards.

    Vic,
Ah man, I’ve learned so much from you, and continue to do so. Bloggerunleashed.com (and .tv) are just full of ridiculously good info, and I come back to it all the time to pick up good factoids, or just to refresh my memory, so I’d be lost without the site. I certainly am grateful for it and appreciate everything you do for us, and I’m sure there are a whole bunch more that do so, albeit, more quietly than the haters.

The assholes are always louder than the nice ones. That is one of the reasons why I am so bitter ;)

    A million thanks.

Vic, your blog kicks butt. I only found this little goldmine about a week ago. I now have around 37 BANS Sites up and running in a week, i hope your proud of me :) . Its way to early to tell what how they are gonna perform but i just wanted to let you know that i spent 4 years at College studying this kind of stuff and can honestly say have learnt more usefull things from you in a week than the whole 4 years combined. Not to mention the £35,000 dollars it cost me… Keep it up man, your videos are killer (and can be hilarious).
