Here’s another good one Vic: http://www.amquix.info/amway.html

There are a lot of sad stories there.

Thanks Frank really good or sad stuff depending on how to look at it.

    Hi Vic,

lol, maybe I should do vlogs too. It appears that we’ve had a miscommunication.

We are in 100% agreement about the paychecks. I think we should be able to show them … what I think is silly is that AGs say we can’t show our checks.

I also agree with you, if someone is “selling the opportunity”, they SHOULD have to back it up by showing their earnings.

My own “sales approach” is actually pretty close to what you’ve described in minute 19.

It’s the “fake it till you make it” people that make it harder for the rest of us. I’m probably more against that technique than you are.

As far as being able to tell who’s really “successful”, and who’s not, maybe it’s just because I’ve been around this for long enough … I can see the clues.

As for people who get burned by mlm. Here’s my best advice … if you listen to a presentation, and find yourself “dazzled by the money potential”, you probably need to step back, take a deep breath, and have a real good clear headed look at things before you actually make a commitment.

There has to be more substance than just the sales pitch.

    Hope this helps,
    Todd

p.s. Vic your videos are a brilliant strategy. You get to talk instead of write, but as long as our comments are somewhat relevant, your post will still have some written content for the big G.

Geezz Todd talk about not being in sync LMAO my bad.

The funny thing is I have always said there is no need to lie in sales it is best to always be upfront and not be scared of objections.

Funny thing about your PS never though about that especially on a niche like this one that really has not real traffic but I have learned that Google treats videos a bit different and I am actually ranking on Google videos with keywords that I had never ranked with.

I will make a vlog about it I have found it very very interesting again everyday we learn something new.

    Vic,

Thanks for the tip about back dating my posts. That was really simple. I can’t believe that I didn’t think of it.

    Thanks,
    Fred

Thanks Vic for the explanation. He should at least comeback with a counter offer. That’s what I would had done.

Yeah he was not smart I relied on his urgency to get the DNS pointed back to his server and it worked out.

Vic, I hear what you are saying about not lying to make sales. “But…” don’t you have to embellish the truth a stretch to sell a product or niche. Especially if you are doing product niches with a product you are unfamiliar with?

    Maybe a Vlog on selling?

    1. Vic on 23.03.2008 at 14:04 (Reply)

I think it would be really fun making a vlog about sales, I will do it right now. ;)

  6. Denise on 23.03.2008 at 14:57 (Reply)

Thanks! I know when I do a niche site I always act as though I have used the product or service and make my recommendation. So in reality, I am lying. I am a lier to make a buck! :-(

I just made a vlog addressing this ;)

Toyota is great!! I always thought Ford was just crap and I still believe it.

Another thing, I will never buy from a dealership. I feel like you are just bending over and saying thank you for tearing me a new one. Always have and always will buy used vehicles.

    1. Frank C on 23.03.2008 at 16:17 (Reply)

My Ford (Mercury Villager) has a Nissan designed engine and, at 155,000 miles, it’s still running good. I paid cash for it a few years ago and it’s been a good investment.

But, I do always buy used these days, for cash if I can swing it. I let somebody else take the depreciation hit. Back in the dotcom boom days (’96-’01) I leased a new car for myself and my wife just about every year. Geez I used to just waste money. D’oh!

    2. Vic on 23.03.2008 at 16:54 (Reply)

I am actually thinking of making a vlog about car deals and the whole process so people have better tools in the purchase of a new or used car

We own a toyota truck. What decided us was you can never find a cheap used one anywhere, they get snapped up real fast.
I wanted to let everyone know, I have a do follow blog where you can leave keyword anchored comments. It’s a humor site, pr4. No links inside the comments, please. If you work at it, I’m sure you can make a comment that is relevant to the posts so that Ernie and I don’t file it under ‘G’. If you start leaving links to bedroom performance enhancers, you’re outa there!

Thanks Tim, I will use it!

    Vic, questions on BMD ;)

If I have a site with 100 URLs, will I get into trouble if I do a scuttle run with all 100 URLs with the same keywords in the titles etc?

Also, let’s say I do a scuttle run with URL set A today with one ID. When this run ends (cos each of my runs always take more than a day), is it ’safe’ to do the next scuttle run immediately with same URL set A but with another ID?

Finally, I guess with every run on the legit sites, I should really split all my sites into several different day batches with different IDs, and then repeat them again after some time (you suggested 1 month) with new IDs, to avoid getting found out too easily, yes?

I guess they might be stupid qns but just wanted to clarify, if you don’t mind. It is what it is, y’know?
I really need more than one computer with this!

    1. Vic on 24.03.2008 at 20:02 (Reply)

YC I just posted a vlog about your question I hope it clears up any doubts.
