OK so you are sick, have no energy, you have an infection, and who knows what else is wrong. BUT YOU ARE STILL GETTING LINKS RIGHT?

I have noticed it has become increasingly difficult to log on to BMD to do my runs. Vic, you have gotten in too many people. Give up some space and shut down one of your PCs running it. LOL

Get better soon meanwhile better make sure you build a few more new sites!

    Hey guys,

I will be starting a massive link building campaign for my websites. For this purpose specifically, I have compiled a pretty impressive list of Pligg sites.
If you don’t know what a Pligg site is, it is the same concept as a Scuttle site, only the CMS is not called Scuttle, it’s called Pligg (duuh).
If any of you guys want the list, just let me know and I will give it to you.
    Get well quick, Vic.
    Cheers.

Paul what is PLigg? LMAO! Also will you do the link building for me?

    2. Mel on 04.04.2008 at 22:55 (Reply)

Paul, excuse the noob question but will the pligg sites work in BMD? If so I would like to have the list… Thanks

        Nope ;)

    Hey Vic,

I found a niche I want to make adsense sites for. Check this out and tell me if I’m on the right track. I used Keyword Elite to find a few kw strings with extremely high KEI. I narrowed it down to just 5 keywords. For each KW the advertisers are paying $5 - $29 per click.

I checked out the top ranking sites for my 5 keywords in SEO Elite and they all have just 1,200 links or so.

Now here’s the thing. Should I make just one blog with a keyword in the url and simply create 5 posts optimized for each of my 5 keywords? Then go on and get tons of links for each page? Or am I better off making 5 seperate blogs each one based around the individual keyword?

Sorry for the long question but, if you create a blog around one keyword like say, “philidelphia personal injury attorneys” would you then go on to make 50 or 100 pages ALL based around that one term?

Basically what I’m saying is, why build 5 or 10 blogs for related keyword strings when you can just build one blog with 5 or 10 pages that have tons of links.

    Thanks Vic.

    chris

Vic, Hope you get better soon. I have a quick question about BANS. I got the software and am learning what to do with it but I would like to know what your thoughts are about changing the default colors. Should we or just leave them boring like they are so the visitor might focus on the ebay ads??? If you say change the colors, any suggestions for someone that doesn’t know much about that?

    1. Mel on 04.04.2008 at 23:14 (Reply)

Vic, Sorry Man, there are instructions right in the manual with BANS that direct you to the forum for detailed instructions on changing everything. My bad…

    Vic,

    Rest up..
Wanted to remind you of my question concerning organization. How do you keep track of 100 Domains/BMD runs so as to not make duplicates or too much with one site/what sites need work/what sites etc…
Any special advice or is it just a matter of getting you spreadsheets in order?

    Paul,

I wouldn’t mind a list as well. Thanks

    1. Vic on 05.04.2008 at 01:55 (Reply)

Tomorrow I will explain better in the video ;)

    Hey Vic,

I’ve had BANS for awhile but haven’t worked it until recently after finding your blog. I got a sale today for a $1200 watch and my commission was only .76 does this sound right? Seems awful low. By the way this was on EPN.

    Rob

    1. Vic on 05.04.2008 at 02:17 (Reply)

FUCK NO!!!!!!!!! Contact support FUCK THAT SHIT!!!! HELL NO!!! Their has to be something really fucked! Please let me know if they fixed that shit. I understand that the service is new but fuck how can you get it that fucked up.

    2. YC on 05.04.2008 at 02:27 (Reply)

Rob and Vic, I have seen a lot of these and someone pointed out that the commission is based on the revenue eBay gets from the sale of the item, not on the sale price. Although it is still fishy that they only make a little from a big ticket item, but you really won’t know how much or how little they make from it.

Although, I’ve been an eBay seller before and I remember they charged me a % of the final sale price I get each time. Still, yeah better to check with them if possible.

Also, if I read correctly, eBay is still using the same -backend- in terms of their affiliate system. So it is still possible that these incidents that are so often reported in the BANS forums will still be prevalent. Just my guess.

    3. YC on 05.04.2008 at 02:35 (Reply)

Btw Rob how the hell do you check what item you actually sold through the site? I can’t for the hell of me figure this out LOL

If anyone knows, I wouldn’t mind knowing lol thanks!

      1. Rob on 05.04.2008 at 02:58 (Reply)

Yea download your transactions from the reports page. The auction item number is in the 4th column from the right. Go to ebay and enter the item number into the search box. Thats it.

A good friend of mine just had someone buy a $10,000 car through one of his aff links. And it paid some where around $50. So there doesn’t see to be a rhyme or reason…

It does make me want to start working BANS though.

  11. lance on 05.04.2008 at 02:43 (Reply)

    hey Paul,

I have asked the BMD support to include pligg sites 2 mths ago, they told they can only the pligg feature if they are many pligg bookmarking sites that they can study on.

you can speak to their support to add the pligg feature into BMD :)

    1. Vic on 05.04.2008 at 14:06 (Reply)

I actually had done this over a year ago so I am still hopping that Edwin ads Pligg sites as they are tons just sitting there ready to be a solid link farm.

    Hi

Sorry to hear that you not feeling well. Just wanted to let you know that I find your posts as well as the comments really helpful!

    I am a noob. If I get ripped a new one because I will ask a dumb question…so be it. here it goes;

I downloaded Seoquake just because its free…and started using it. I am learning. I tried a few searches for a few keywords, very broad keywords with lots of competition. I searched for keyword: USA…over 1 billion results.

The top spots in these searches on keywords like USA, keywords with tons of competing sites, are held by sites that have a good page rank, few or no Google links at all but tons of MSN links and MSN indexed pages. They are all much older as well. The older the better, I understand, but why no Google links? That seems to be the case with all high page rank sites that rank well in the SERPS,at least the ones i came across…

can anyone help me understand why this is the case?

    1. Vic on 05.04.2008 at 18:19 (Reply)

Gus please wait for my comment reaction video I am waiting for Revver to approve it to publish it I explain deep SEOQUAKE ;)
