Blogger Unleashed, Alexa, Court’s Theme and the Forum

First folks as you may have notice the last few days my normal daily ranting has slowed down big time. I have been quite sick and I have just tried to answer comments as best as I can. Want to thank Grizz for helping as always but especially yesterday when it was hard to try to stay focus. Now people What The Fuck? Thanks to those that have already voted but GEEZZZ I can not believe I only have 27 VOTES PLEASE TAKE THE TIME it only takes about 5 minutes to register and VOTE!!!!
Ok I have received up to this post 187 peeps with the search string how to fake alexa as you folks know I made a post that was all about bringing in Alexa tool bar users to boost my Alexa as of know I have position 5 on that search term I will keep working the term to get to position one. Again this is a lesson on making post looking for some specific results. I find many users to just post anything, I do not there is a reason why I post and when I post.
Now Folks remember we have the forum up. I will make to new Categories because I think their will be a continuing discussion on this. The new Topic Cats will be Adsense and Pre-Owned domains. Please if you have questions about either go to the forum and leave it their.

What do you think about using Blogger to create niche websites?
Fred as you know Grizz kills it with blogger blogs and dude they are owned by Google so you know the bot lives their. I have only used Blogger blogs for links and now in this stage I am in, I try to build equity so all my niche blogs I build them looking forward to one day selling them you can not do that with blogger blogs, also I am a control freak and as you know at blogger you are kind of the mercy of what ever they want to do.
But like I said before Blogger Guru Grizz fucking kills it with them.

Knowing that you do everything for a reason, out of curiosity, the other day I did a quick google search on “dumb fuck” … wanted to see if you just like term, or if there’s a purpose behind it.
lol, I think you might be trying to attract more guys to this blog or something. I noticed in the comments on the paint post yesterday, that your readers feel kind of “liberated”.

vic why dont you have adsense in your blog?
pavs Adsense is one of the best money makers out there but since pricing was started you have to be really selective in what niche to use. I have Financial, Insurance, Stop Smoking, Lawyer and other high CPC niches if I used Adsense here my CTR will be below .45% on avg so I will be getting the terrible 3 cent clicks at the same time I will have my whole Adsense network priced and I will lose potential revenue from my niches that pay well.
Second this site I never looked at it like a money making site this is my fuck you all A-lister site so If I make some money great if I do not oh well. The ads that I run on this site I do because they are tools that I use and recommend serious bloggers to buy. You will never see an ad here of something that I do not use or find useful.
Here’s an example. I made the mistake of putting Adsense on OpTempo which really isn’t niche focused and tended to get a lot of junk ads. This cut the Adsense revenue from my niche sites in half starting in November. Adsense is gone from OpTempo now so we’ll see if there’s a revenue pickup in January.
Frank is like Grizz says do not worry it usually takes from a week or 2 but you pricing will come back up.
He doesn’t have Adsense because people don’t click on it in this niche.

I have read Griz say that his blog makes $8 a day and he is in this niche so someone must be clicking
Bruce I guess it is all in what you think money is. I am sorry but $8.00 a day is $240.00 a month Bruce if you consider that money mmm we need to talk. I would not sacrifice my Finance blog that has had as high as $25.00 clicks for $8.00 a day.
Grizz makes his real money from other blogs and with affiliate marketing. Grizz has made 15k in 2 weeks worth campaigns. He really does not give a shit about $8.00.
Bruce the only thing I would take low returns is a BANS site and that is because it is set and forget. But for a niche I try to go for a minimum of $50.00 if I can not generate $50 a day I will not work the niche.

How much search traffic do you need typically to make $50 a day? I know it depends on the CPC, but you must have a rule of thumb.
I have 2 blogs in the massively mutliplayer online role playing game market. On one I get about 100 searches a day (PR4 and about 6 months old), the other is 3 months old but not much content added. I am only getting about $.10 a click. Will this get better? Should I just shut these down? The PR4 blog does not need any more content so I could just stop posting and leave it sit.
I like the idea of creating a bunch of blogs and in the aggregate make nice passive income with Adsense. However, you guys are scaring me with your talk of smart pricing.
Fred as you said this so depends so much on CPC. Example one of my sites is about Financial stuff I have had as high as $25.00 a click on that site. Now I was using adsense on one of my sites that suddenly killed my whole CPC in my network so i went from and avg $3 CPC on that site to 30 cent clicks. I have notice and this I can not say for sure but I hope Grizz maybe has looked at his stats when he has been priced and can shed some light, but I have found that when I get smart priced I start getting about 1/10 of what my normal CPC was.
Fred the best thing I can tell you is to go to adwords and do a good keyword research and see what competition is their for the keywords on your site, it might not be cost effective for you to have adsense on some sites.
I will tell you this anytime you are getting 10 cent clicks the niche is not good for adsense. I try my best to get into niches that will provide a minimum 1 dollar CPC.
