      1. Steve McGrath on 08.05.2008 at 18:27 (Reply)

That’s why I emailed you my ideal for a new software so that this “mysterious guy” could take advantage of my ideal first since he has the funds(and more later). Btw, did you received the email? Later, he will be able to do another second launch on your blog. My own way of “Pay it forward” ;)

For now, I can’t wait to see his first software. :D

        1. Vic on 08.05.2008 at 18:35 (Reply)

Steve I probably jumped over it but if it is an idea for a product I would not share it with anybody as it is your idea so let me look at it and see if I can help you with a developer so you can take it from idea to full launch just like Dave ;)

  9. jblu on 08.05.2008 at 18:17 (Reply)

Thanks for the opportunity Vic. I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled and my RSS reader open :)

LMAO!! had to I needed to look semi-respectable in the testimonial ;)

  11. Jimmy on 08.05.2008 at 22:51 (Reply)

if it does what it says it does i think the product is way under priced. it’s definitely under priced for people who can’t think of ANYTHING to write.

    1. Vic on 08.05.2008 at 23:00 (Reply)

I think the price for what it does is sure enough low but Dave wants to reach as many people as he can and hopefully recover his expenses, in other words he is not looking to get rich from this tool ;)

  12. hijinks on 08.05.2008 at 22:55 (Reply)

Geeze Vic! A tie? Buttons down all the way up to the top? Good lord, I thought the whole point of working online from home was to be able to burn our ties! Just kidding!

In all seriousness though, the tool looks very useful! This is definitely going to increase my productivity!

    Corey

    1. Vic on 08.05.2008 at 23:01 (Reply)

Not everyday you get to see me in something else besides a t-shirt, cap and barefoot LMAO!!!! I love the tool and it will no doubt increase your productivity but man I also hope all you folks cash in and make some money with affiliate sales as the product is so new.

  15. Chris Digital Products on 10.05.2008 at 22:08 (Reply)

    Vic,

you talked about jumping in and promoting this product right away. The idea being that for 48 or 72 hours we, the readers of bloggerunleashed have a jump on everyone else. The A listers and the whole bunch.

What we study here at blogger unleashed is a different sort of business model (for now at least) and it isn’t particularly focused around selling affiliate products.

My question is how the hell do we take advantage of this two day head start? This will be important for future products that you launch here.

With BANS we are learning about keywords and getting links and time management as well as how to use the necessary software. “Keep getting links and when they get counted you get paid” I remember you saying…but this doesn’t seem to apply (to my understanding at least) to a “quick” two day headstart on selling an affil product.

Unless you have a good flagship blog that already ranks very well, how are you supposed to take advantage of an awesome opportunity like this? Most of us here have been trying like hell to make money online for months or years with little or no success. How are we supposed to ‘kill it’ quickly?

Sorry for the long comment but for me at least this would be really instructive if you could give us some guidance.

    1. Vic on 10.05.2008 at 23:16 (Reply)

I will make a live channel cast and record it to answer this.

  16. Diane Sontag on 11.05.2008 at 01:50 (Reply)

Chris, sounds like you missed some of the live broadcasts this week. I have been lucky enough to catch some of the info that way. Vic has been recording it. I am new at this information, too. From what I can see, the answers are all over this blog. I am busy reading and listening and doing. Spent a good chunk of today putting up my first monetized site. Will fill in the holes later. Taking all the steps I have been able to find out about.

  17. Niche Store Writer on 11.05.2008 at 01:55 (Reply)

    Chris,

All it takes is a little effort. Let me support that statement with an example.

I created a hubpage today, barely 6 hrs ago. The url is in my name listed above. Within 2 hrs of creation, the hub page was on page 1 on Google for the search “Niche Store Writer”. Take note that there are currently 440,000 odd results for “Niche Store Writer”.

This is with zero links. Again, let me repeat, ZERO promotion. You don’t need a flagship blog to promote this or rank highly. Yes, if you have one you have an advantage. I do have a flagship blog, infact I have several but I chose the hub page for a different reason.

I would suggest you think along the same lines. Remember this is a new product. There are several places where you still can get a good keyword name in the url. Post good content and build your links.

The first link on Page 1 is a digg post. What does that tell you? The keyword is there for the taking.

    Good Luck !!!!!!!!

  18. Chris Digital Products on 11.05.2008 at 08:48 (Reply)

Nice!! Thanks for the really concise answer (how do you do that?)…I have problems asking the question and you answer it perfectly. I’m glad I stayed up till 4:47 AM because I learned something new.

  19. Vinny Lingo on 12.05.2008 at 14:25 (Reply)

I’m really excited by all the results now showing up in google for Niche Store Writer. You guys are going to have a fun time promoting this, and I think you’ll learn a lot about how Google processes results for a new keyword phrase. I’ve been watching the results for my name shift and change the last several weeks, and have made some interesting observations. What I’m seeing here with Niche Store Writer’s newfound results only confirms what I feel I’ve learned.
