The whole eBay 'expiring' thing doesn't make sense at all. It seems entirely random, like they pulled names out of a hat or something rather than basing it on any metrics.
Anyway, it just goes to show that you shouldn't overly depend on a single source of online income but should have multiple streams of income, on and off line.
I don't know either. I know the use of adwords is against the ebay TOS. I cant help but think that some people were doing things that they shouldnt have and ebay doesn't say to save argument… like you say otherwise it makes no sense. I have an account I haven't used it yet, I plan to buy bans in the week, now I am not so sure.

How do you drive thousands of uniques to your sites? I know you've talked about how easy it is but I don't see it . . . yet.

Well the 64 was my first computer and remember the timex machine came out actually first so when the 64 came out I had to choose and by far at the time the 64 was more advance even though it was also way more expensive. Loved my commadore 64 and 128 still have it. Sold cars too, lol. People need to realize that internet marketing is no different to running a brick and mortor business. It takes time to build and if not managed properly your going to fall on your face. If you dont think regular business isn't dog eat dog just like internet marketing you need to think twice.
You are so right this is one of the other reasons I feel many people fail they really think the real world rules do not apply. I do think the internet is was more shady then the real business world in the real world you have laws in the internet most people are just hard to do much with there scams
I started with a TRS-80. Then I had an Amiga 2000, and then Amiga 3000 (which I still have). The Amiga was an awesome computer!
Now, Vic, there's one thing I want to point out to you in an area that I'm more of an expert than you — getting old (I'm pushing 60). "40" is not old! When you get health issues taken care of, you'll see what a great age that is. You are in your prime, so enjoy it!
Ohh shoot I owned a few Tandy right after the Amstrad PC1512. May folks neither know or remember in a given moment Tandy was the dominant PC manufacturer. I never really understood what you mean by the blogosphere totally wacked and full of scammers until I made a post on my blog about the relationship of CTR in adsense and Cost Per Click.
The blogosphere is teaching a lot of bull that people are actually happy of $0.05 (which they said to be the highest) per click and accused me false information. They said $1 per click is not possible.
After that, I never really bothered. I just pity these noobs following bloggers like brainless zombies. Teaching them to get $0.05 per click and be happy about it. The funny thing is, they don't even know what's the different between an advertiser and a publisher when they read about adsense' terms.
The good thing is, you have good information in making money online. And "if you're good at something, never do it for free", it just gives more opportunities to internet marketeers like you, court, griz and the other guys to make money out of these precious information.
It is amazing when you step back and actually look at the shit these noobs write everyday it is just pathetic and the sad part is every day a noob comes online and wastes his time and money following the dumb ass advice.

I used to have a Amstrad PC1512 i had the model with two 5 1/4 floppies and CGA with its special 15 colour mode oooooooow …lol .. spent most time playing digger (remember that)
Going to get a job in the next few weeks even if its stacking shelves, i'll buy the IM tools and then put a percentage each week into sites. I decided to outsource most of the content writing because i am shite (dyslexic and all that), this means that can can spend all my spare time researching and link building. I may only be able to build a couple a month but hey its a start.
Going to hospital for assessment (CBT) on the 4th so we'll see what happens after.
